Here is the English translation:
Two years after the 1 st volume, the collection 'Ecoutez le cinéma!' announces a 2nd Ennio Morricone box set just as impressive. In stores on January 7, 2022.
In 2019, with an 18-CD box set, the Ecoutez le cinéma! published the most ambitious record project ever dedicated to Ennio Morricone . Two years later, here is the second volume, designed on the same principle: a selection divided into 14 thematic CDs (western, French cinema, war stories, comedy, American cinema, television series, etc.).
With a program balanced between classics ( My name is Nobody , La Cage aux Folles , Les Moissons du ciel ), rarities (the soundtrack of the TV movie Le Pourpre et le noir , never released on CD), absolute unpublished (the film version credits du Clan des Siciliens ), numerous original soundtracks never reissued ( In the line of Fire, Hamlet, U Turn) ... and a complete CD around songs and covers (Kyle Eastwood, Demis Roussos, Andrea Bocelli), including an original replay of ' Once upon a time there was the Revolution by Chassol and Love Affair by Christian Gaubert.
With this new sum-box, the monumental work of Maestro Morricone continues to blend into the present. Better, endlessly.

Yes, it's there: "rarities (the soundtrack of the TV movie Le Pourpre et le noir, never released on CD)"
The first 12 tracks on CD 13 come from THE SCARLET AND THE BLACK. So they have included all the tracks which had been on the former LP album in 1983, but nothing else besides them.
It also seems to be one of the very few scores (besides the two NOBODY scores on CD 2) on this huge set of which all former LP tracks have been used whereas for almost all the other scores you always get a selection of only 3-4, sometimes 5-6 cues.

Like many of these box sets, its always a great set for anyone who owns only a few scores and wants to get a big slice of ennio variety.
The more scores you got, the less interest such things are unless rammed with rare covers, unreleased inedits or whatever.

There's no reason why it couldn't be released (that I'm aware of). As I have said before La Chaive,from the first set, got a release.
