BEAR McCREARY AUTOGRAPHED CD EXCLUSIVE “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION VOL. 2” Music by Bear McCreary RETAIL PRICE: $15.98 STARTS SHIPPING JULY 5 LA-LA LAND in collaboration with SPARKS AND SHADOWS is proud to exclusively offer autographed CD copies of the Second Volume of acclaimed composer Bear McCreary’s original score to the hit Netflix series MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION! (Regular, unsigned CDs available at Amazon.com starting July 8) From the composer’s liner notes: “I hope that the resultant score is what I set out to achieve: a soaring, highly thematic work built first as a symphonic, orchestral piece, but one supported by an arsenal of percussion and a modern, propulsive, heavy metal rhythm section. This is not a retro score, nor a throwback to the 1980’s: I wrote this as a modern score, that just happened to draw inspiration from the themes and sounds of that era… Masters of the Universe: Revelation may very well be my most symphonic and simultaneously most metal work to date. I am grateful to everyone who put their trust in me, especially the brilliant Kevin Smith, whose inspiration and personal leadership made this one of the most rewarding creative experiences of my life – Bear McCreary” TRACK LISTING: 1. Masters of the Universe: Revelation Main Title 2. Masters of the Universe: Revelation Trailer 3. Cleaved In Twain 4. Birth Of The Savage 5. Randor And Marlena 6. Celestial Apex 7. The Temptation Of Evil-Lyn 8. To Chaos Return 9. The Tide Of Transformation 10. For Eternia Part I 11. For Eternia Part II 12. For Eternia Part III 13. For Eternia Part IV 14. For Eternia Part V 15. MOTU is the grandest music McCreary has penned since Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Volume 2 CD release seems to be 9'40' longer than the digital release and of course it gets a Sparks&Shadows/ LLL treatment. But what about Volume One? Shouldn't someone on these labels do anything about it as well?

I am aware of it, my friend, but sadly, I refuse to pay even a single cent on CD-Rs. Let's hope someone will eventually release a factory pressed CD treatment in the likes of LLL or Sparks&Shadows. I totally agree, It really is such great stuff to be wasted on pricey yet cheaply produced CDRs...

The first volume had a physical disc, a good quality CDR from "Mattel" . Not a pressed CD, true, but mine plays with no issues. I'm thrilled LLL is releasing Vol 2, it's fantastic stuff. Here is the crazy thing about cdr vs pressed discs...pennies. yes, that's right PENNIES. I just don't understand why companies don't spend the extra few cents to press up the cds. It's mind blowing. MV Well, you guys just made my day with this. Ever since the digital release I've been hoping a disc would follow soon after. That For Eternia suite is mind blowing. I'm going to order this one - gonna order it hard - and then maybe again.

Is the CD release acually nine plus minutes longer than the Digital release? There seems to be no info or track duration provided on LLL website...

Perhaps it is just a typo in regards to album duration? 0 and 9 are right next to each other on the board after all. Perhaps Mr. LeBlanc will know all about this release as well.

Perhaps Mr. LeBlanc will know all about this release as well. I do not think it's a mistake LLL are very careful on their announcements. Maybe one or a few of the pre-existing tracks have been lengthened in duration, something that has happened before in digital to CD releases (i.e., Alan Silvestri's THE AVENGERS). That is what I hope, at least...

Ah that's a bummer! I wonder why the LLL website says "Total Time: 69:40" then?

Yes, it's a typo... It's 60', as in the digital release. But we are very happy to get a factory pressed physical release, after all. The music of the show is the best work of McCreary since Godzilla and Professor and the Madman.
