All but one of those titles features a digital download/digital booklet. But to get one, you are also required to obtain the CDr (and pay for shipping), even if you have no interest in a CDr. A bit like being told you can't buy an electric car unless you also obtain a tank of gasoline.
I presume the sound quality is equal to their factory-pressed predecessors...
No Difference, they are mastered and edited by James Nelson at Digital Outland and you also get a digital download (24 bit if you wish) along with a digital booklet as well.

I have one of the CDR titles . My order took 3-4 weeks to ship, I'm guessing the "on demand" was the reason for the delay, but the other item in my order was a brand new title, so maybe that was it.
Once shipped it crossed the country in 2-3 days. It sounds and looks fine. The inserts are on sturdy paper, doesn't feel flimsy . The disc art looks good and the disc plays with no issues.
Overall I'm pleased, I was able to get a score that had gone out of print so there are no complaints here
To answer the OPs original question/query, I only have one so far...SPLASH (Holdridge/RPO) which is excellent. Good sound, nice artwork/LP liner notes reproduction (no booklet, just an insert with tech credits). I will buy more, if it's stuff I long for (JEREMY!!! JEREMY!!! JEREMY!!!)
And Morton Stevens' terrific score for the 1978 Miniseries WHEELS (starring Rock Hudson and Lee Remick) would also a great Soundtrack "CD-R on demand" (possibly 2CD) release - Morton Stevens is totally underrepresented and his massive score for the WHEELS Miniseries is his Magnum Opus. No wonder he received an Emmy nomination for it (later also for his MASADA Miniseries Part III and IV scores).
I got two just for the sake of curiosity and I can tell you the quality of these so called "on demand" made discs is totally below standard.
The paper inserts are Ok but are badly cut and folded. The problem are the discs which are very low quality. They used the cheapest possible cd-R and didn't even bother to put the glossy finish on top. The printing is blurry and if you touch the surface your fingerprints will stay marked beyond repair.
Of course it reproduces the sound, but is very unprofessional work. Anyone trying to sell such awful quality items should be out of this business.

You must joking, it does not make any sense to call them out of business because of one product one person does not like. It is like trying to close the local gas station because the coffee is too cold to your taste.
I do buy their digital versions on Qobuz and do not care about CDrs.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experiences with two of these releases, if you would email us at info@buysoundtrax.com with your order number I'll be happy to send you replacements for these two items with our deepest apologies

I’m also all in for WHEELS - with the beautiful 2-CD release of MANIONS OF AMERICA by BSX, I’m sure they would love to release it.
However, it is a Universal-TV title, so that might be the issue.
I just don't understand why anyone would introduce a CD-R service over a properly manufactured CD. It must be a business model that suits the company but I can guarantee it's not what the average consumer wants.
Every single CD-R I have purchased has turned out to be very poor product from the CD build, to the inlay card and jewel case. All made to the cheapest standards. I can literally produce something better at home.
The majority of people who buy physical media are collectors. What they don't want to collect is a lesser quality product that looks and feels like a bootleg.
I pity the fact that WITHOUT A CLUE is part of these discs on demand. Wouldn't such a score sell well as a regular CD reissue ? Also, even if I would decide to finally buy the CD-r, I can't order it from retailers like MBR. All in all, it's very disappointing. Not being interested in sound files, I'm aware that I'm old-fashioned though...

The average consumer has zero clue they are buying CDRs unless they are specifically told.

Based on what? I'm fairly sure the average consumer can spot something that looks and feels like a bootleg. Brittle jewel case and an inlay card that looks like it's been printed at home.
If they then need be sure they can simply look at the back of the CD itself. The markings are distinct and obvious.
