Amazing! I think this is only the second Burwell score a boutique label has ever done, and the first was Psycho III, so it was a franchise.

Quartet did the unused Kiss the Girls (paired with Isham's final score).

Very cool! I'm always down for more Burwell. Thank you, Intrada!

Quartet did the unused Kiss the Girls (paired with Isham's final score). Talking premieres, La-La Land also premiered Burwell’s complete score to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the original movie) on their 4CD collection of music for the more popular TV series. So that’s one Burwell premiere each from Quartet and LLL, plus one Burwell expansion and now one Burwell premiere from Intrada. Yavar

Ah, that's right, I forgot about Kiss the Girls and Buffy as parts of other albums

Oh, and Varese did the other expansion besides Intrada’s Psycho III — they did a Deluxe Edition of Blood Simple! So that’s four specialty labels in on nice new Burwell editions over the past decade Yavar

Fantastic score! A dopey, super-dated flick but Burwell overdelivered. Can't wait to hear this one -- excited to have it at last, and long overdue.

Ah, that's right, I forgot about Kiss the Girls and Buffy as parts of other albums Also Varese expanded Blood Simple as part of the Club a few years ago. I hope The Jackal and Bad Company (not the Chris Rock - Anthony Hopkins one) from 1995 and add Mystery, Alaska get released soon but scratch another long desired Burwell title from my list.
