Well if you're in no hurry you can do what I do and keep checking Amazon.co.jp - there's an English option.

You can setup an account, and check out all the sellers in Amazon Marketplace offering used items. Some are willing to ship internationally - the easiest way to find out is to add the item to your cart, and proceed to check out - most of the time you will get this message:

Someone is offering the first CD on your list for 4200 Yen (the two cheaper options wont ship Int'l) , plus shipping for 823 Yen - so 5023 Yen total. I'm not sure what your budget is. (actually you need to translate the item descriptions in google translate too - this one is not mint...)

https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listing/B000064V12/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

You can search Amazon.co.jp regularly by the "TY-XXXX" catalogue numbers and keep checking for copies that sellers will ship Int'lly. I've gotten some gems this way. Still hoping for a few on my wish list...

Here's one example I'm sad won't ship Int'l:

https://www.amazon.co.jp/Zerkalo-Stalker-Andrey-Tarkovsky-%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AB%E3%83%BC/dp/B0791W83JB/ref=sr_1_4?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1523035147&sr=1-4&keywords=tarkovsky

Excellent and extremely useful advice my fellow Canuck. Thanks to you, I've already snagged a long desired title.

Thanks! smile

Glad you were able to grab something. It's nice just to be able to buy directly from Japan without a buying service (I'm never used one of those because it's such a hassle, and expensive). But I do enjoy drooling over some of the crazy CDs up for sale on Yahoo Japan Auctions.

Like I said, fantastic advice. smile Yahoo Japan Auctions? Sounds interesting.

Amazon Japan is indeed a great place for purchasing certain CD releases. I've been getting the majority of my Japanese CD releases from Amazon Japan. Pretty much any CD release being sold by Amazon Japan themselves (or fulfilled by Amazon Japan) can ship internationally. The shipping, via DHL for the U.S., is fast and stupid cheap too. In fact, I pre-ordered an upcoming CD release of a score by Akira Ifukube, and the shipping will be less than $10. Amazon Japan can be a cheaper option for some CD releases.

Yahoo Japan Auction is a pretty good place to search for CD releases as well, but you do need a buying service such as Buyee in order to purchase and/or bid on items. I bought a four CD release of Akira Ifukube's film scores from film studio Nikkatsu at Yahoo Japan Auction via Buyee. Overall, it was a pleasant experiance for me. Oh, I have seen some of the albums you're seeking there as well.

Lastly, I've seen eBay listings of some of the albums you're seeking for somewhat okay prices recently as well. It may be a place for you to check out if you haven't done so already.

Thanks for the good advice Brandon. However, I'm not quite familiar with a "buying service". I'll definitely look it up. Thanks again. smile

You're welcome. It's luckily not really complicated, at least for me.

It's definitely helpful if an item isn't available elsewhere. By the way, I'll be keeping an eye out for the albums you want.
