So far Bad Times at the El Royale is my 2nd fave of 2018 right after Roma. I still need to get caught up with several more '18 films, but Bad Times will no doubt remain in my top 5.

We don't even have a 'best of' 2018 list yet, and we're straight to 'worst'?
But OK....these are films that scored the lowest on my list this year:
«Dark Crimes», «A Silent Voice», «Rett Vest», «Veronica», «Molly’s Game», «Red Sparrow», «Vann over ild», «The Death of Stalin», «Sorry to Bother You», «Retablo», «The Nun», «5th Passenger», «I Remember You», «Still/Born», «Romina»
As for TV, there have been plenty of things I've tried and then "jumped off" (whether they premiered in 2018 or before). Again, I refer to my two TV threads, on sit-coms and paranormal/sci fi shows.

That i can remember, some may be from other years, sorry. I don't really watch stuff as it comes out. I mostly watch older stuff for pleasure so this is a bit short. i also have a bad memory.

Better Call Saul - keeps getting better
The Man in the High Castle
Worst:
I watched an episode of The Mist, it was absolutely dire.
The Walking Dead, after years of being awful, became unwatchable. Entirely due to awful writing and bad showrunning.
Dark Crimes - Oh, it was bad, despite Carrey trying very hard.
Black Panther - Really not very good.
Annihiliation - I saw it after i read the book Roadside Picnic and it's just a carbon copy rip-off with little else going for it (though i know it's based on a different book). People keep saying it's intelligent sci-fi but everyone acts like a moron in it, and aside from some visuals and ideas in the last 10 minutes, it's just an unbelievable chore.
The Last Jedi - i saw it in 2018. Abysmal writing.
Mandy - Pretentious and utterly, utterly rubbish. The Emperor's New Clothes of a movie. Apparently it was an 80s throwback style film, but the people who said this must never have seen a film from the 80s. If you like coloured filters and people talking slowly as though it gives their words depth and meaning, then this is the movie for you! It also allows Cage to knowingly go full Cage, 'cos it's what the internet thinks is cool. It was just embarrassing. (Had a good score though)
Most Disappointing:
Blackkklansman - was really interested in seeing it, the story is very interesting, great cast - but the writing fell flat and mostly i just didn't like the style of how it was done, it was really quite awful in parts and the music didn't work in many scenes and drew attention to itself for the wrong reasons (though it may be a good listen away from the film). I'm reading the book and preferring that much more, even though it's less fraught with danger.
The Predator - i like Shane Black's previous films and he talked a good game for this. But it was an absolute wreck of a film (though i still somehow managed to get some enjoyment out of watching it). Love the score, though.
