Does a mini series for TV count? They are just extended movies.

If it does, I'd pick Lonesome Dove and Game of Thrones.

It has to be Goliath Awaits (1981). A truly bonkers tale of an ocean liner that was sunk in WW2, & somehow the water didn't flood in & the crew & passengers survived & started their own community (I think it's a mini-series, but I'm always happy to bring attention to this bizarre TV program). It starred Christopher Lee among a really great cast with Frank Gorshin as the baddie. Not available on DVD, but you can see it on YouTube.

A Cold Night's Death (1973) is definitely a TV movie, I haven't seen it for decades, I'd love to see it again.

Adam nailed it for me precisely, except for the order.
Mine:
1) Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
2) Trilogy Of Terror
3) Helter Skelter
4) Gargoyles
The first 2 in particular will haunt me all my life.
(Which probably has more to do with the age at which I saw them than anything else, though they are excellent movies regardless.)

Trilogy and karen black is well remembered by many on this board. It was pretty gruesome. Probably an age thing.
Was it really, officially, a tv movie?

Yep. I remember watching it with my sisters with my parents laughing in the next room.

On a related note...
There is something about Karen Black that I cannot put my finger on.
She has an indefinable quality that I find scorchingly hot.
It's weird.

S.O.S. TITANIC (ABC, 1979) for me, especially in its full-length, TV movie version. Super cast includes David Warner, Susan Saint James, David Janssen, Cloris Leachman, and Helen Mirren in an early bit part.

I also remember being hugely moved by DARK VICTORY (NBC, 1976), but I don't know if it was really all that good, or was I just a kid under the influence of Elizabeth Montgomery. I haven't seen it since its network broadcast. Anthony Hopkins was the co-star.
