Does anybody know the accurate chronology of "Sacrifice Of Angels"? I think it's this one, but I'm not sure: 1. Teaser Recap (DS9 Vol. I) 2. Opened A Hole In Their Lines? (Final Frontier) 3. Kira In Corridor Combat (Final Frontier) 4. Klingon Fleet To The Rescure (DS9 Vol. I) 5. Prelude To White Flash/White Flash Prophets (Final Frontier) 6. Dukat Searches For Ziyal/Damar Shoots Ziyal (DS9 Vol. I) 7. Welcome Back Captain/Garak & Kira In Infirmary (Final Frontier) Is this score complete now or are some cues are mssing? I guess with approx. 20 minutes it is complete. P.S.: I've listened to CD 4 with my headphones. I've noticed no mistakes.

A couple of weeks ago, jb1234 wrote here that the proper order has your 3 and 4 reversed, and also said that this is not the complete score, but all the highlights. (Also, most DS9 scores have several very short "play-on" cues where they cut to the station for four notes, or go to commercial with a flourish.) I see! Thank you. I skipped that. Wow! Twelve minutes left!? I know this episode quiet well, but I cannot imagine where these twelve minutes are.

It's mostly just transition material, cues in and out of scene changes, so I think we really have all the major highlights now.

Aside from the transition cues, the big omissions are the three minute cue when the bad guys realize they have to evacuate the station (which leads directly into "Dukat Searches For Ziyal"). Also, there's a mammoth seven and a half minute cue of which only "Kira in Corridor Combat" is released. Unreleased portions include Quark's jailbreak and the entire mine destruction sequence up to when the Defiant enters the wormhole.

Just for fun I've been working on doing mock-ups of the unreleased cues from Sacrifice of Angels (and maybe a couple others in the future). Mostly it is indeed just transitional material, or very short (usually around 1 minute) reworkings of other cues. There are a couple smaller highlights that are still missing, such as when the Defiant leaves the wormhole (Weyoun: "Time to start packing!"), and of course the detonation of the mines. I've only done three mock-ups so far, one of them was a cue I started working on at the beginning of the month (Opened A Hole In Their Lines) and ended up being on the new set, but I finished it anyway (there are a couple small differences in the episode version anyway, as I mentioned on a previous page), and am currently working on the next cue. I wish I knew the *real* cue titles, but I guess my made-up ones will do for now lol! These are quite excellent. There's a clarity in Bell's orchestrations that make his music very amenable to mock-ups. Thank you! Yes I completely agree. Bell's music is particularly melodic/rhythmic in comparison to that of the other composers. That's not at all to say that it's more "simplistic" or anything like that, but it is more structured, which makes it much easier to both hear more clearly through all of the sound effects, and to transcribe note-by-note.

Perhaps that's how we'll continue to get more of the music going forward; not from intricately-crafted official releases that include the actual recordings, but just a bunch of random people mocking-up various cues here and there.

We still need someone who tackles TNG and Kurtzman Trek. Jeff Russo is really good at leaving out good stuff Truth. Some of Russo's best stuff has not made it onto disc. He has used his spore drive theme many times and it never appeared on album.

It's always possible Star Trek III will be re-released by another label such as Intrada. They still have IV, V, and VI in print. This may be the first time I've ever been right about something like this!!! Why’s that?
