Yep. I thought you’d won with Carrott, but I’m afraid you’ve been trumped.

Yes thank you sol. Now my story doesn't seem so trivial. Sheena Easton was my neighbour before she got a better house, but when she was just normal and lived next door my cat made friends with her cat and they had kittens.

This even beats Hickling allowed to play with medusa! wink

Graham, if only you’d had the chance to have kittens with Sheena. Or did you!?

We'll TG... You know I don't like to boast, let alone tell lies - but yes okay, it's 'common knowledge' that I did. I think Jenny was after that, there have been so many... I do so hate drawing attention to myself, so let's just leave it at that. Must have been a few years after the D'Angelo "affair" come to think of it. She went all cross-eyed and everything. Kev knows. But enough of me.

Anyone here familiar with the (presumably British) phrase "my cat pissed on your doorstep"? It's what folks say when discussing relatives so distant that they're barely related. Somewhere between all this Easton's cat story and the lovely tenuous connections here reminds me of that phrase...

Well now this is the BIG one....my Uncle was Lead Guitarist/Vocalist in a 60's band which had moderate success with singles.
During this time a certain Del Shannon reviewed one of their singles for Melody Maker and THEY later supported THE BEATLES
with their show in the UK in 1963 - My Uncle told me he met John Lennon & George Harrison! F-A-B what?!

Well there was the fascinating time I met Omar Sharif while we played water polo. No wait, that was when Bill Carson met Omar playing poker. He tells an absolutely riveting account about it somewhere. Of course he was the only one who didn't get to sleep with Omar's wife, for obvious reasons (poor Bill!).

No, i played cards with him while you slept with his wife.
But it was Hickling who fondled Medusa. And Sheena Easton who had kittens with Si Que Watt.

Couldn't have been me, I was off by myself. That's what I miss for fondling the Cyclops.

I played three practice tennis games with Jimmy Connors, at the Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club in London, where he was appearing in a pre-Wimbledon warm-up tournament, in the mid-70s. And he introduced me to his then-girlfriend, Marjorie Wallace (winner of the Miss World title, 1973) who was there watching him play.
