MV answered a while back that there were no plans for more animation scores [except for the New Batman Adventures I think], as the contracts were either too complex, or they're missing completely so they can't do them.

In January he said:

MORE SHUKI LEVY STUFF - NOT AT THIS TIME. Rights issues and missing contracts.

And I recall him saying a month or two ago that WB was getting too expensive (so no "Animanicas" or "Tiny Toons").

Well, I got the precise quote and added a small bit, so I didn't duplicate you entirely.

Any chance some of those other upcoming McCreary releases will be available through LLL with signed booklets? I vaguely remember one of those Outlander scores was available through LLL a couple years ago?

It would be good to know in advance not to order from anywhere else and just wait... smile

MV,

Have any of my TV series thread helped and/or peaked your interest?

MV, several months back on Facebook I saw you post something about The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. coming from LLL. Because of the context at the time, I remember being a little bit worried that you might have been making the comment in jest. Were you, or is it actually something you are pursuing?

Justin, if LLL are indeed producing a set of music from the show, I really hope they do take a gander at your thread about episodic score highlights:

Personally I'm less wild about Edelman's pilot score than you are, though it does have its moments. But I far prefer the fine orchestral efforts by Stephen Graziano and Velton Ray Bunch (a LLL veteran thanks to his Enterprise scores) for the first third of the season.

MV, darlin', any chance you can release an expanded edition of CASPER next year? Just in time for it's 25th anniversary.

Any plans for more Filmation scores (He-Man volume 2, She-Ra, Bravestarr...)?

I second this query, and more specifically - the scores for the earliest Filmation super-cartoons. I really want John Marion's music from The New Adventures of Superman/Superboy, Aquaman, and those Justice League/Green Lantern/The Atom/The Flash/Hawkman/Teen Titans shorts from the 60s.

They're pretty much my last remaining grail.

I third it.

Was not some of Mr. Graziano's work for Brisco and Sliders released in 1996?

Only a promo. No official release of scoring from either show.

Hi MV,

Has Kevin Costner been pretty quick to sign off on your releases of his movies? (dances, Wyatt Earp, Waterworld)

Thanks

And if it's the Graziano promo I'm thinking of, it's like 12 minutes of Brisco music, mostly short cues from the latter two thirds of the season after the budget for an orchestra was slashed...

I have another Brisco promo, too.

And I can't believe I forgot, but there was an official release of "Sliders". Back when Dennis McCarthy had a website, he was selling some stuff and one was a CD of both his episode scores from the series. BuySoundtrax carried if briefly, as I recall.

Hard to come by now.

I don't know why he let his website disappear into oblivion.

Or in others words...is The Postman coming soon?

I hope it comes to fruition.

Didnt MV say something about Warner titles may slow down due to the rise in licence fees?
