Ride to Dubno would be a death trap in heavy traffic.

Still, it's a great way to go. smile

It can also be conducive to speeding tickets.

I have revisited this again after a year, with all the other Tadlow releases, this really is just wonderful!

I love this recording. It's a spirited performance, and this is a score that I feel plays out just fine in complete form. This was a really nice package, I loved that cover art.

Taras Bulba and El Cid are cases where I consider both the original LP and the complete Tadlow recordings indispensable; I love both for different reasons. Of course, both LPs are arrangements made specifically by their respective composers for those albums, so they are going to diverge in certain ways from the Tadlow recordings of the complete score. There is overlap, but they play out differently.

This is unlike, say Lawrence of Arabia, where if I want to listen to that score at all, it's always going to be the Tadlow recording.
