You will have to drink guinness to console yourself thomas.

You could be right kev. When we do play with belief, its against better sides. Earlier in season we did well against Chelsea too. They just need to carry some belief and workrate and concentration into next match. Is it that hard??!

Xeb i think most people thought it would go all the way like last year but this time with liverpool edging it. But city didnt replace kompany and have been bang average by their standards, not really pushed livpl at all.

I hadn't even realised Six Nations were on, but when i found out, i knew Ireland were doing badly - it's usually my Irish mate here who goes on about it, especially when they beat England. Shame you got bumped from your freebie day out, Thomas, that would have been a good un.

Blackpool beating Bolton 1-0 at half-time. As expected. Whether it's 3 or 5 at the back, we ship a goal.

If Barca thought things would be hard against Napoli tonight (I've been flicking between that game and Chelsea/Bayern), things just got a whole lot worse now as Napoli have scored on their only breakaway of the half.
It started out as 11 Naps behind the ball, now they might retreat off the pitch.

Chelsea getting battered 3-0 so far, sadly.

Blackpool 2 Bolton 1

We equalise on 88, they score winner 90 seconds later. Jesus.
The amount of games we have lost by one goal is astounding.

That was a real hiding. Crashing out with a whimper. No Liverpool style comeback for them in Munich, methinks.

Yeah it was men vs boys in the Chelski game.
Bayern just pinged it about and stepped up a gear when they needed to.
They had a young left back who was like lightning when he put his after burners on.
All over for Frank Lampard's Chelsea Kids(TM) in Europe this season.

Impressive performance by Abu Dhabi against what is a poor Royal Madrid team, lacking in pace, ideas and cutting edge. Pains me to say it, but Abu Dhabi and Bayern have looked the 2 best teams in the tournament this season.

Oh and Ramos was sent off again...

Hey, you lot. What are the two most different bits of music you like? That are furthest away from each other (not on a shelf). Someone today said they couldn't believe i liked a piece of music based on what they thought i liked, so it got me thinking. I'm not sure what mine would be. Maybe If I didn't care by the ink spots and new order's confusion (pump panel remix).

You know full well, if Chelsea weren't banned for transfers they'd compete against any-one, remember 87 unbeaten till Pool ended that world-record run Kevkini, Chelsea got a solid record over Munich you forgot that - free spending Arsenal - Spurs both get mauled by Munich.

Interesting. How about Like a Hurricane by Neil Young and Moon River by Andy?

(And I had to Google The Ink Spots!)

I'll have to look up Neil Young. I've heard the name but don't know his songs. I think i confuse him with Neil diamond too, who i also don't know any songs of. I actually don't know much about music outside of some classical and a few more soundtracks.

Even the ignore bin deletes his posts without reading. wink

I first knew who the inkspots were from the esso blue advert Smoke gets in your eyes when i was a kid - i found out it was an original by inkspots. Crazy thing is when i try to sing the original i end up singing "...they asked me how i knew... It was esso blue...i of course replied....with lower grades one finds...smoke gets in your eyes..."

Most extreme music xeb? Ooh er. Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the flowers and stranglers Rock it to the moon!
Kevs will be john williams and ...john williams???

Orchestral version of The First Nowell by Victor Hely-Hutchinson (that I only know because it was the TV theme to The Box Of Delights)

and

You Know My Name by Chris Cornell

Holy flip, i still remember the theme to The box of Delights from when i was a kid. I found it distressing for some reason. It made me feel so melancholy. Good grief.
