Looks like it's sold out again. Bloody hell, I may just have to give up on this one.

It’s possible Intrada or SAE ordered a new batch of these when they became available again. I’d check with them. Yavar

It's getting old with this release coming and going. Seriously, it shouldn't be this hard. Guess I'll throw my money towards Quartet for the time being.

This one seems to be the gift that keeps on NOT giving. Shades of the INDY 5 CD debacle. Varese and Disney...GET A ROOM!!! Technically, they are both now sharing the same room. It's the MusicToday warehouse in Crozet, Virginia I wonder if they share the same 'executive in charge of incompetence '.

Reeeaaally annoyed I spent $50+ to get a copy of City Hall from Japan, now. But happy other folks can pick up this excellent score easily. Yavar

I would have thought with all your efforts on the Goldsmith Odyssey Podcast that SOMEONE within the industry would find a copy for you. How naïve of me.

Yeah, it would be cool to get special treatment like that but we get fewer such perks than you might expect. Despite helping them out on multiple albums years ago (pro bono, and quite substantially on Lionheart in particular), I couldn’t even get a response to my emails from Varese, when I was putting together our Soundtrack Spotlight episode on their new City Hall release. All I had asked for was a digital copy in order to produce a podcast ASAP. Intrada for example provides the podcast with digital masters in advance of us recording a Spotlight episode, so we can be informed for the discussion as well as using it for the edit. Quartet Records is the only label that’s ever offered to provide us with a complimentary physical copy of a release. We primarily do these episodes not for perks but for our listeners (they tend to be among our most popular) and to help out the labels and encourage more Goldsmith releases. But I hope I’ll be forgiven for griping about having to spend over $50 on an overseas copy to get a Goldsmith expansion I care about, mere months after it was released, just because there was no warning of it selling out… and then apparently it wasn’t actually sold out, after all. Sheesh. Yavar

Sheesh. Yep, I fully get your irritation, that was handed badly by Varèse Sarabande; don't know why they did it like that.
