David Lev is still in print and available: http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/14275/THE-GOING-UP-OF-DAVID-LEV/

Much shorter and less epic than the other two scores, but I still love it.

Heyy, perfect! This way it's not an extended search, plus I always like throwing business SAE's way.

I am a fan of the Morton Stevens material… this release is, in my opinion, quite fantastic.

I have the LP of the album recording, which is worthwhile as well. I think it may be a stronger, more concise presentation overall of the Goldsmith material, but as I recall there were troubles with its CD transfer. But the original soundtrack recording on Intrada is fantastic, and the Morton Stevens stuff from the finale is exciting, then chilling.

The Intrada is a wonder to behold, for both Jerry's and Morton's fine music. So much wonderful music to discover. With that said, the original LP re-recording is a judicious and succinct selection of the very best of Goodsmith's music, performed incredibly well. I'm glad to have the complete recording but more often than not I listen to that wonderful LP presentation.

You don't seem to be alone in appreciating vinyl. I still have my collection...almost all Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and classic Metal wink

I do know if I changed over to vinyl my spending would seriously decrease...but I LOVE CDS! smile
