Watched a recorded motd thismorning from early march, seems weird watching football again.

The one advantage of this shutdown - Heres a stat for you - that west ham havent lost for 21 days. smile

Football's foreign legion quite good.
Id forgotten a few. Kazimierz Deyna played for city!
He of Escape to victory.
Later killed in a road accident in San Diego in 1989. frown

Ardiles n villa and Ossie's awful Cup song - which he hated then but loves now, as his grandchildren sing it to him!!

Even covered Keegan going to Hamburg and Woodcock to Cologne, souness to samdoria and peter barnes to betis.

Lets hope its just your imagination playing tricks on you litefoot.

Shortness of breath gone - I think it's because I went 48 hrs without one of my tablets. I'm still a little warm, but then the temperatures are in double figures today.

So we have some football news - PL clubs fighting to stop Man City playing in Europe while they appeal their two tyear ban.

Keeping an eye on this development, as if this season is voided then my Arsenal would slip into the Champions league place vacated by City next season

It's the same ropey old 4x3 transfer that they always show. Our own Gormless Norm in A Stich In Time (1963) this afternoon 2.35 on Talking Pictures, I can still remember seeing that one at the pictures (Mr. Grimsdale!!).

I saw the Burridges one last week.
Can never stop laughing, they are timeless like carry on films. Always laugh at the same bits. smile

Motd have a lineker shearer wright top ten prem scorers prog, with them sitting 2 foot apart. They just flashed across the screen - probly coz of switchboard going meltdown - saying " this programme was recorded before social distancing measures."

Hello Bill.
Yep, all okay at Chez McGann.
Working from home last week and the next two weeks.
Listening to plenty of music and watching lots of shite TV.
Missing the footy like mad (watching and playing) and if they cancel this season and just start a new one, I'm done watching football for good.
Hope all's well with you and yours.

I'm having a relatively relaxing plague lockdown as my little insignificant world hasn't quite gone tits up just yet.

I've got myself hermetically sealed in a 1970s conceptual plexiglass fortress--listening to lots of early '70s R&B, Jerry Fielding scores, and watching a shizzle load of The Rockford Files, Sanford and Son (never did see Steptoe and Son; would love to), and gritty '70s "fillums."

Exactly the same as Kev for me as well Bill. Working from home for the foreseeable (they actually gave me a sleek, expensive laptop which I'm planning to keep), listening to music and lots of channel hopping, and some reading. And drinking beer at nights for something to do, whilst playing board games with the kids.

I agree with Kev, if the bastards call the season off I'm done!

Hope everyone on the thread is keeping safe and well.

My relatives I live with came back from America so I had to vacate while they quarantine. I'm at a friends flat. Doing okay. Loads of Canada geese outside the window grouping up, mocking us. Stay healthy.

Elton John is hosting a Red Cross drive for donations with loads of celebrities singing - it's cloying and appalling. At least that Gald Gadot Imagine shite wasn't asking for money. This is exactly the same, except it's hours long and has loads of famous people telling each other how inspirational and amazing they are and how "we're all in it together". If the fuckers donated one percent of their earnings to this they'd make money than asking a society that is now awash with struggling and unemployed people for cash. These sacks of shite are singing from their mansions, in front of their pools, from their studios and massive kitchens. The lack of awareness is stunning One young singer said her boyfriend was "killing it". And all of their music is shite. This pandemic needs to end to get these warbling cunts off the telly. I keep thinking i hear bin wagons emptying bins but it's just the echoing, hollow sound of celebrities patting themselves on the backs.

Elton John is now comparing the pandemic to AIDS. Fucking hell. what a plank.

Ellen just joked she's wearing the same sweatpants three days in a row. Does she not realise she's rich? Why the fake humility?

Agree 100% with Xebec re celebs. They just can't bear to not be the centre of everyone's attention can they. Sickening people.

Re voiding the season. I said a month ago that I could see the season voided. But I think if we have to finish the season, even if it means we cancel next season. To me the solution is to give the footballers a holiday until the worst of this is over, say September and finish the season and forget the 2020-21 season, or play a short season. The players should then be fresh for the European Cup in 2021. That would have to mean the Summer trsnsfer window is shut.

Thanks Xeb.
Your rant did what all good rants should do.
Made me laugh and get angry at the same time.
Yes indeed.
This Covid thing is stealing all those sad, pathetic, insecure celebs of the very thing they need to survive.
With so many normal people concentrating on their own futures and existence, these self-absorbed characters have become somewhat redundant.
How about the 1% (as they are generally known) offer up some small percent of their disgusting gains to help out the 99%.

And yes, you cannot start something anew, without ending the current situation. Especially when one leads directly into the other.
Obviously I'm coming from the '2 wins from the title' perspective of things. Just like, I'm sure, TG wants things to resolve, as they're probably 3 or 4 wins away from the Prem.
Can you imagine the original Star Wars trilogy WITHOUT The Empire Strikes Back!! Of course not smile
Only Karen Brady seems keen to void everything. And we all know her reasons why! Stupid Bitch!

Even though Bolton would be certa to get relegated they should just finish this season whenever and restart a new one when possible.

I see the goats are returning to Welsh towns down from the hills.

Trolls probably entering the towns around Wigan.
