Can't wait to get my hands on the deluxe Stargate. It was one of the first scores I ever bought and still remains one of my favourites. Classic David Arnold! Improved sound and so much bonus material. Tuesday can't come soon enough!

Thanks to Lalaland for the incredible work as usual!

Glad y'all like the batch. A lot of hard work went into these projects especially the audio restoration on the Paramount set and the disaster set.

We did intend on releasing The Swarm with this batch but alas approval delays got in the way.

MV

MV, thank you for the update.

In light of the update, can we expect, The Swarm, The Adventures of Batman and Robin and Darkman in early in 2020?

Some time in 2020

As always, thank you for keeping us updated, MV.

All right, I've missed something here... Black Friday having most assuredly come and gone, why are none of these new offerings showing up on the LLL website? I've read through all of the postings since the titles were announced and can't find out how one would actually endeavor to purchase one or more of these items. The pictures are right purty and all, but...

Maybe it's because LLL said orders won't start to be taken until Tue 03 December

Thank you.

An expanded 25th anniversary edition of John Barry's 'The Specialist' would have been nice.

I am REALLY looking forward to Stargate. I've been wanting it in complete form for YEARS. I wish I could get Voyager but alas I can't...

To all those who say "The OST is enough" screw you I say.

I can't find the post, but I'm sure it was years ago at the Intrada forum that Yavar said the complete scores to season one of "Columbo" would fit on a 2CD set, as he went through and timed the scores.

Only Season One??? They could put the whole series on 2 discs. 160 minutes of cues that "showcase" and "exemplify" the show is all we need. Or deserve.

I disagree. The season 1 set is perfect. Season 1 has the best and the most memorable scores ever.

It's during season 1 that the musical template is set thanks to Billy Goldenberg and starting from the 1971 pilot "Ransom for a Dead Man" which ends up with the theme of Columbo played by a saxophone.

Furthermore, season 1 has the best ensemble of composers (Goldenberg/Mellé) and all the scores are excellent which is not the case with the remaining seasons. Even though season 2 and 3 are quiet strong because of Goldenberg’s artistical input. Past that, it is more or less bland because the maestro was gone.

If LLL releases one set or boxset, season 1 must be presented complete.

Columbo Soundtrack - Ransom for a Dead Man (1971) - Billy Goldenberg

[00:00] 01. Death do us Part
[01:56] 02. Burial at Sea
[03:49] 03. Ransom Drop
[05:37] 04. The Lieutenant & the Locker
[07:56] 05. Margaret returns
[10:46] 06. Leslie's Waltz
[12:28] 07. Cemetery Chat
[13:11] 08. Fear of Flying
[15:31] 09. Safe Landing
[16:23] 10. Margaret's Revenge
[19:18] 11. End Title

Bump!

Congratulations LLL! Another great Black Friday batch. I will finally be able to get my hands on Karate Kid which I had missed the first time around. I also cannot avoid that surprising disaster movie collection. I still have to decide by the end of the week whether I get Stargate or not but I will have to order soon to get all this before Christmas...

Dear customers,

Thanks so much for your support of our label. We want to update you on some short shipping delays.

Due to unexpected manufacturer delays, stock is arriving a litter later on our Black Friday announced titles than originally scheduled. We will begin shipping the DISASTER SOUNDTRACK JOHN WILLIAMS SET and VOYAGER VOL 2 on December 10th. Orders that contain KARATE KID, STARGATE and the PARAMOUNT WESTERN COLLECTION are scheduled to begin shipping on December 16th.

Rest assured, we will be working very hard and will have all customer orders received by December 19 shipped out before we close our shipping department for the holidays. As previously stated, any online orders placed 12/20-1/1 will begin shipping out when we reopen on 1/2.

Thank you so much for your patronage and your patience and we wish you all a happy and safe holidays!

Best,

Shakespeare spoke about this in Henry the Fifth....

"Now, if these cds do not ship soon, it
will be a black friday for the king that led them to
it; whom to disobey were against all proportion of
subjection."

Thank you so much for your patronage and your patience and we wish you all a happy and safe holidays!

LLL released a wonderful slate this year.
From a sublime overhaul of the Superman The Movie soundtrack to this last group of titles, so much wonderful listening I'm thankful to be able to enjoy.

I have the Disaster set on order with Intrada because I wanted to bundle it with some other labels release, but it's eagerly anticipated. No biggie on the delay.

Best wishes for the holidays, and to your continued awesomeness in 2020!

It's a good score; wouldn't have bought it if I didn't like it.
But, not a classic Arnold score imo.
