I am wondering if La La Land is still interested in releasing computer game soundtracks. There have been some very great releases in the past in that area too! Thank you! Are there any plans to release more game music? There was Sumthing Else record company who did that, but it's gone as I know... And there are so many great game soundtracks to be released too.. Like SimCity/Sims. Music in that game is so so great! That would be mega cool if La La Land would do something with SimCity/Sims like it did with Medal of Honor! I really think that would sell out quickly Am I the only one who thinks La La Land should try to release more computer game soundtracks too? Possibly. Would have to make inroads again at various companies. Sad part is most of these companies don't want to license out for cd releases. Would rather vinyl or nothing. MV

Do you ever wonder if by some miracle, more 60's comedic soundtracks might be considered like: Gilligan's Island I Dream of Jeannie Bewitched Get Smart. We may not truly understand it, but we have the back score in the back of our heads. --jthree I've been dreaming of a Gilligan's Island release - all the Williams, Comstock, and Fried. It's my last remaining grail.

Would rather vinyl or nothing. MV Weird. Frustrating. I loathe vinyl on so many different levels. Like going back to the typewriter but even more inconvenient MV

MV, Any chance we will see Carter Burwell’s scores to Fear or Kalifornia in the future? And also Burwell's The Jackal?

Watch what happens when I tell you that requests for titles like Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, Bewitched and I Dream of Jennie are for people who have little appreciation for our film music heritage. These requests are coming from people who never grew up and cherish the ordinary. Ah, the bait of a troll. I don't crave these, but I know why some do: Gilligan's Island, for example, features work by John Williams and Gerald Fried. If a study of these two doesn't make your criteria for "film music heritage" consideration, please revoke my membership to the club. Hear hear!! Well said Saul! Early scores by our favourite composers, are not only familiar and beloved but of great "archeological" significance as well.

They're only going to appeal to the musical archaeologists though, Mike. I can appreciate what MV is probably feeling--"fine, we'll put these out and only sell a 100-125 at most." As I say this, I would love to have a multiple disk set of Morton Stevens' work (and the one Goldsmith effort) on the shortlived '61 series 87TH PRECINCT, but there's no doubt only about 40-50 people who would truly support it. I remain grateful for all the rare wonderful things we have gotten over the past two decades.

I guarantee you a bunch of Goldsmith fans bought the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea set for just the expansion of his score. (Not talking about myself; I like a lot of the other composers’ work especially Leith Stevens.) Maybe a four disc set wouldn’t be the way to go for a more obscure series, but a two disc set might be. And at the very least a single CD release (think of it as a reverse of FSM’s Cain’s Hundred, which had four Goldsmith scores and one Stevens score) would probably have good sales potential based on the substantial Goldsmith score alone.
