"Colleen's Paper" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nfLoGt4m94 Another clip show. Hard to tell what's new material and old material. Highlights: 0:00 in. 11:45 in. Horace sure does get hurt a lot. 12:31 in. It begins before the clip, so I assume it's not tracked. "Between Friends/A House Divided: Part 1" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OREgA2mH_0k Highlights: 2:17 in. 9:38 in. 16:16 in. 23:30 in. 31:25 in. 35:50 in. 39:36 in. 44:50 in. Finishing SEASON SIX:
NEW LINKS as of: July 24, 2018. "To Have and to Hold" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HMW8JhJ_kQ Another clip-show episode. Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:14 in. 13:49 in. 41:11 in. "The Fight" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr-Q2MDTQ4M Highlights: Nothing. Another one of those annoying, what I call "obligatory", episodes of a series, like car racing and an episode with a priest who may or not be Irish and boxes. This time: boxing. It left little room for score. "New Beginning" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC1FSFaZR8I Highlights: 0:00 in. 27:31 in. 31:11 in. And so concludes the series, ending on a regular episode. Obviously they thought this was going to continue. It did, however, get two TV movies, so I am moving on to those now.

The TV Movies:
"Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Movie" By: Mike Post, Edward Rogers, and Ben Decter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS8V-XSAdcs For what ever reason, Olvis did not score the movie. Familiar themes and orchestration ideas are not present. Highlights: 0:00 in. 8:10 in. 9:39 in. 12:26 in. 21:13 in. 22:44 in. 2725 in. 33:23 in. 3530 in. 36:53 in. And after the commercial break. 39:37 in. 4055 in. 43:00 in. 55:05 in. A pretty cue. 1:05:44 in. 1:13:30 in. 1:16:27 in. 1:17:56 in. 1:29:13 in. "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Heart Within" By: William Olvis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpp5TMsw0Lg Not only is Olvis back for the final TV movie, the familiar opening credits music is included as well as the credits themselves, with some new pictures. Highlights: 2:55 in. 7:51 in. 39:08 in. 46:05 in. 55:22 in. 57:49 in. 1:01:09 in. 1:04:45 in. 1:11:33 in. 1:14:15 in. 1:18:04 in. That just leaves two more things to address.

The Spin-Off:
In 1997 a pilot was filmed and directed by Jerry London, featuring the character Hank moving to Los Angeles and becoming a deputy in a lawless town. Yes, the lawless running the lawless. For what ever reason, only the pilot was filmed and the series was not picked up. Many of the characters from the "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" parent series made appearances. Parts of the pilot leaked and are on Youtube, but it's missing the credits. "California" By: ????? * Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwqE2H7lr8I Part 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lxfO-Ol3_M Highlights: Part 1: 6:00 in. Part 3: 4:40 in. * = So far, I have been unable to find out who did the score. I asked the director and he didn't know. I asked Larry Rench (who orchestrated for Olvis on the series) and he didn't know. I asked David Low (who did cello work on the series for Olvis) and he didn't know. I've checked the credits at both BMI and ASCAP and it's not coming up under the series name or under Olvis. I've done an internet search and didn't find the answer. And, as suggested by Rench or Low, I have contacted the AFM to see if they have a record -- if it was an original score recorded in the state of California, there would be a record. So far no response. Based on the sounds of the score, I am inclined to think Olvis scored it. Unless this was a track job. And as a final note, there was a long TV special titled "A Salute to Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman". The credits are too blurry to read, so I have no idea if it features an original score. And that --aside from episodes I didn't find a load for -- concludes what I can offer right now.

For those who wanted to sample the scoring, but got here after one of the Youtube channels I linked to was shut down, I have added new links to many of the posts. I list whether there are new links or not under the SEASON post start.
