Hanz Zimmer or Junkie XL would put meat in the seats since that's what the kids bop to these days.
I would be happy if Arnold returned. I wouldn't be excited if Newman returned--he hasn't done anything that's tickled my fancy thus far. I feel like the general consensus among the film score community is that it would be nice to hear a fresh sound from a new composer.
The "Depth of Bond"? Are we talking about the same long-running, cheesy Saturday morning cartoon histrionics that haven't let up for more than 50 years now?
Cinema now days is slim to nout. Not a fan of how many buried Predators VIIII - tired Aliens XI is it, lost all track. Boyle's cv shows he had no business directing Bond his film background wasn't strong enough, Yeah, 50+ years still going strong kid deal with it - cartoon's is your imagination Bond over SW or ST 24/7 I don't watch cartoon histrionics.

I agree. I don't really like a SW made after 1977, and really hate most of them after TESB. And most of the ST movies have had quality problems.
By contrast, there has never been an EON Bond that I don't want to see again. Even the least-best of them has a lot to offer. A Bond movie doesn't make me cringe in embarrassment (ST at its worst) or feel my intelligence is being heavily insulted (post-77 SW, per usual).
We can argue about the merits of James Bond for the next fifty years, but there's no point. If you love it, you love it. Enjoy! I'm much more in the bobbengan camp – I see no depth whatsoever there, though there are a few enjoyable movies (and, to me, many more pretty terrible ones). For me, there's never been a Bond movie that approached the inventiveness and depth of a good Danny Boyle film. But we can also argue that for the next fifty years, and what would be the point?

It's been strange to have such long delays between Bond films during these Daniel Craig years - 4-5 years between installments can be frustrating, especially as the Mission Impossible series has been pumping out great sequels during all this time.
This argument doesn't carry water - there have been the same number of Mission: Impossible movies (4) as Daniel Craig Bond movies (4) over the same time period.
By the time the next Bond comes out, it will surpass Mission: Impossible over that time period.

Of course it has depth/script Etc, otherwise it would be aired just on TV long ago, flop. 56 years are you blind. Bond's commercial base is superior, global - a lot of action movies can be over done Bond has that niche balance demonstrating its better, & it smashes the pop market, kid.
“I’ve wanted to do one of these Bond films for a long time, so that’s not new. So right now it’s just kind of dealing with the shock that it’s real and the honor obviously and now the responsibility.”
