The Capstan technology has been available for several years. It's been discussed before here, ages ago, but I don't recall the thread/s.
It would be interesting to know which soundtracks have already been the subject of the Capstan process. Any?

I wish the company had been more imaginative instead of naming the software tool after a part of a tape player without even a qualifier, like "Capstan fixer." I guess they were at their wits' end just coming up with a company name by mixing 'celery' with 'ceremony.'

I'd love them to use it on Lorne Balfe scores!!!

Actually, I've secretly developed software that does this.

So, what it does is it takes a Balfe score, and with a semi sophisticated A.I. program adds real quality orchestrations to the existing score.

Now, it adds temp changes, but this makes it hard to jive with the existing Balfe score, so some of it will then have to be cut out.

And notes are changed to make the new orchestrations and editing work, dramatically increasing the craftsmanship of the score.

And finally, since all these changes no longer work with the existing Balfe score, the program jettisons the Balfe core entirely and plays some random existing score by Jerry Goldsmith for you.

You're fucking grateful.
