Was lucky and scored this for $50 off eBay but... Why did this recent release become so expensive??? It's usually $250-$500 on eBay and Amazon.
Sonic is a super popular pop culture figure, and a release like this has major crossover appeal (fans of the movie, fans of the video games, film score fans, etc.). Besides that, it was limited to only 2000 copies.
That said, the (also really fun) sequel score was released in 2022 and is also limited to 2000 copies, yet is still readily available...get it while you can, folks!
P.S. I hope LLL releases the score to the upcoming third installment (coming to theaters this December).
I really enjoyed the first score by Junk. A LOT of fun. I always planned to pick this one (SONIC 2) up as well and figured I'd use their 25% sale deal to bag one (AND get my missing HOOK booklet sent out during the process too). Anyway, twice last night there was a failure to complete the process via PayPal, when ordering on my phone. So I used my works computer this morning and, checking eBay first just to compare prices (as one does) I saw it was nearly a tenner cheaper from the eBay seller (and that was AFTER INCLUDING the 25% off at the LLL site). I guess the Money Gods were looking out for me these past 12 hours or so.
