The most important question: How did you feel living in the shadow of Jerry's overwhelming genius all those years?

Fucking moron and fucking Thor also..just some massive dickheads...this place has bottomed out with dumb clucks.

Please restrain yourself, Sir. May I suggest a chill pill?

Also, Thor and I as objective allies? I think not.

1. You played piano on "Peter Gunn" by Thee Great Henry Mancini. What was it like to be involved with an album as cool as that?

2. You played piano on "Voodoo" by Thee Great Robert Drasnin. What was it like to be involved with an album as cool as that?

3. You played piano on "Jungle Jazz" by Thee Great Les Baxter. What was it like to be involved with an album as cool as that?

4. Your Dad played drums with Thee Great Raymond Scott. What was it like to grow up in house with someone as important as he?

"Those Williams quotes above are just rubbish, and pretty clearly so. Concocted by some random person, using bits and pieces of facts about the films and scores, or bizarre rewritings of actual quotes"
------------------
But they WEREN'T.
TownerB even included the link from whence they came.
I think someone owes someone else an apology.

I obviously don't apologize to someone who uses that kind of disgusting language in response (as townerbarry's replies above -- swiftly reported to the moderators), but if they are real quotes, I do stand corrected. Guess I was thrown off by the almost oral, whimsical prose, which stands in great contrast to Williams' usual eloquence. Also, it's Morris Stoloff, not Maurice Stoloff.

Fair enough.
But you 'rubbished' his quotes first off.
He provided some answers and was mocked or attacked for it.
And we all know TB can be a bit...volatile at times..

"Volatile" is putting it mildly. There is no excuse for that kind of namecalling and language, even if I initially "rubbished" off the quotes.

Well I appreciated the Williams quotes, about those respective directors, that he copy posted and linked.
VERY interesting.

Sure. Kudos to Bennett for asking non-typical questions.

What about my questions?!?

Sure, they're fine. Williams' piano gigs (for film, tv and albums) are still a territory we don't have complete overview of yet, nor any particular insights from the man himself; only general remarks.
