This came today to California from London. Ordered on the U.S. website Amazon.com on March 12. Less than 2 weeks by standard Royal Mail. Downright excellent mail service. Most important of all, beautiful symphonic music is still being written.
Don't miss out on TO OLIVIA if this kind of music is to your liking.

I like the theme (kinda Rachel Portman-like), but there's a lot of plodding on this album. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to keep it in my iTunes or not.

Dealing with tragedy doesn't call for exciting music and this music score of Debbie Wiseman fits the story beautifully. Anyone who wants exciting non-plodding music should consider the nature of the story.

I didn't expect drums and fanfares, but I didn't find the textures inbetween the beautiful main theme particularly interesting.

Comparison to another woman and British at that. You can do better Thor. Compare to a man. Brilliant score as stated before.

What are you talking about? The theme is very reminiscent of the type of theme that Portman writes. It has nothing to do with gender.
