Ha, na. I stopped going to the pub many decades ago. A nice glass of red at home for me, as per usual.
I am planning to go to an open air market tomorrow (Portobello Road Market), I've really missed not going there. It'll probably look a bit sad compared to how it used to look, but hopefully it'll slowly come back to how it used to be...as long as we don't spike again.
Well the market was about 50% of what it would normally be, & it will only get better. I passed a lot of pubs & they were all behaving well, people distanced & enjoying a drink & a chat.
That was my experience this very afternoon. They were all observing good practice. They were quite strict. Hand sanitisers on the way in and out. One way systems.. Very distant spacing within, and out. Much better can I say than in any supermarket I've been in since the day after lock down.
But I do drink in a village, not a town centre....
On my way to begin posting, this morning, about 8.30, there is a pub that was open. Sitting there were some of the usual suspects hugging their pints in case it was all a dream.A traffic warden also appeared, first one in ages.
