COWBOY IN AFRICA Complete. George Bruns scores for this short-lived series were, for me, a revelation. Fantastic, beautifully crafted music recorded with quite large (for sixties TV) orchestras.

The Thing smells bogus (I think I'll get that printed on a tee-shirt).
The old Varese is complete regards the Morricone material and the (ten minutes?) Carpenter/Howarth cues are minimal (and master tapes lost, last I remember reading somewhere, though that might be rumours equally bogus)
I sit here dubious but hopefull. We got expanded Legends of the Fall so I'm open-minded these days.
