I've never noticed that noise and still can't hear it and I've got good hearing since I have ear tubes in.
I don't see how this thread is turning into a shit show. Then again I got several people on ignore so maybe those on ignore are have caused this thread to go downhill.
I don't hear anything. Some around here must be of the canine family.
I think I can almost kinda hear a very faint nanosecond's worth of something, but only because I'm repeatedly straining to do so.
It's like the nocebo effect ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocebo ), or that scene on every sitcom when the characters think there's pot in the brownies, and the expectation alone gets them intoxicated.
