Looking at that pile in the photo reminds me of years ago about a news story of two dudes who were hoarders living in a house. I can't recall the reasons for why the police went in, but they could only find one guy. Then sometime later they found the second guy -- buried under stack of stuff that fell on him and killed him.
Just sayin'. ;-)

I don't know what boorish comments were made to cause the need for this thread - but I couldn't agree more with the notion of 'positive FSM'. My god - these guys and these labels! What 'saints of art' they are. I believe they have sacrificed so much to seek out, restore, preserve, release the music we love. Any one of these guys could have made a whole lot more money in the big time, commercial end of the music biz with their skill and know-how. They deserve NOTHING BUT PRAISE and our gratitude.

I LOVE action film scores! Mainly from the 1980s and 1990s! They are a big part of my inspiration to continue writing my fiction pieces. I love any and all genres, but the action and adventure genre from the two mentioned decades make up majority of my collection. It’s the best form of musical art for me.
I also love this board where I get to nerd out with fellow film score nerds. I also learn a lot from many on this board who far more informed and have a far greater collection than I.

Like many people here, I have loved this board for years and learnt so much from some very knowledgeable folks. I have occasionally enjoyed the sparring from certain rascals only to then agonize and endure those same rascals once they believed they had the power to derail decency, conversation and genuine bonhomie for their own warped pleasure.
It is certainly sad that these individuals ignore warnings to perpetuate their own illogical campaign of ill-will. And even though I, as Kilt-Man, forever champion freedom of speech, and hate the notion of banning people and voices ... it is only fair and just that these time-wasting and frustrating individuals be removed from a place full of people that gather together out of a mutual love of something that moves us all beyond mere words. Film-music and the power it has.
Stay together, folks. This place is home to so many of us.
Long may it continue!

I don't recall if I found FSM the website first or FSM the magazine first, but I do recall how surprised I was to find there was a magazine about film scores, spotted in Books-A-Million. I think I purchased about a handful of issues. I believe the first issue I bought had Horner on the cover.
They didn't carry it for long, since I was probably the only customer.
