Getting Bombed is one of my top five favorite Bernstein cues. Such a fascinating intersection of styles in just one cue. Love this score!

One of my top five scores of all-time. Gorgeous, exquisitely varied, exciting, suspenseful, bombastic, romantic, jazzy. This score is everything I love about film music. Not enough good things can be said about it IMO.

But my goodness, I love every cue!

The film is arguably one of the best examples of a succesful melding of songs vs score soundtrack. No better than the beggining with the transitions from Bernstein's mysterious opening to Rigg's 'Radar Rider' then back to Bernstein. Too bad some of that B17 music never made it to the film or that he never got to score the dropped 'Neverwhere Land' segment.

Yeah, this score's got it all. Love all the Golden Age throwback style (in sections).

And I like that little nod to Bernstein in the "Den" segment....

"Wow! Right out of The Ten Commandments!"

(at least I think it was a nod)

I just picked this up in the SAE sale with some other Sci-fi FSM releases I never got to before.

And lo and behold, there's Elmer rocking a Casio calculator wristwatch - worth the price all by itself!

LEFT - look on the left side of the picture! Stop drifting to the right!

I just saw this comment. Hi- freaking -larious!

Agreed, revisiting the score this morning I forgot how thematic it is. Very varied, energetic and beautiful.
