Graham, you brought a smile to my face. Thanks for bringing back some sanity to the conversation.

So far we’ve been hearing from people who haven’t seen the movie complain about the movie. In a few weeks, we’ll go to hearing from people who still haven’t seen the movie complain about the movie.

The way this movie has just consumed a very particular set of people with irrational anger is commendable really.

Ken Rockwell for many Moons could Review Cameras and Lenses he Never Ever Held in his hands, much less tested! Got Caught! My Nickname for Ken Rockwell was Flim Flopwell. There are tons of Flim Flopwell in FSM, those who haven’t seen upcoming films that have not been released, and can give you and me, a complete review of the movies, and scores. Them Magical Flim Flopwell’s are abundant here.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will end this way..I have seen it...Spoilers..

Captain Kirk is Still Stuck in the Nexus. Lexus lil Brother.

I invoke the 1st amendment because people should be allowed to say whatever they want. Admins can ban me though.

That’s not how that works.

I think maybe, Lucas Kendall, or Kendall Lucas might be looking for a buyer for FSM, maybe when you buy FSM, you can change all them pesky rules and smegulations here.

Hee Haw!

I don't remember that it was different for the last two scores - track listing only on the day of its release.

If all goes well, I'll see this on the morning of the 17th, the day before it premieres. I'll chime back with some comments (although very vague; we have to sign an embargo).

I'm really looking forward to it. Over the last couple of days, I've started going through all of the films and TV series again, and watching them in chronological order (starting with THE PHANTOM MENACE etc.). But right now, I'm stuck on the THE CLONE WARS series, which I've never seen before, and it's so HUGE that there's no way I'll make it in time with just a week to go. Here's what I have to get through: https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/a825727/star-wars-timeline-chronology-phantom-menace-to-last-jedi/

Last I heard, JJ Abrams is still reshooting most of the movie.

What? Force Awakens pretty much leaked a whole week before street date. We don't even have an official cover. This is abnormal. And with all the talk of how late the scoring went and editing only finishing this month, I'm betting the OST doesn't come out on the 20th.

Everyne should really stop panicking and resorting to hyperbolic concerns. Williams finished scoring the movie a month ago, there were pics on social media of the last recording session. The movie has been locked for at least two weeks since they've screenings with the cast. Disney is most likely just keeping everything under wraps for now and requested that Amazon and all retailers not publish any track listings until 12/20.

Exactly. If they had not people would scream SPOILER, why didn’t they keep it under wraps, how unorganized they are...

Ahaha amazing how all the teeth gnashing in this thread can just get dispelled with one link.

A few tracks in and it sounds great.

Everyone just needs to calm down for gods sake.

I'm really liking what I'm hearing, considering this is an Academy promo and there's still a lot of music we haven't heard yet. I'm already liking it much better that TLJ.

I didn't really see anyone in this thread gnashing their teeth about the music.
The gnashing was about the relative merits about the movie itself.
Unless I'm missing something.

I'm on track twenty and I've yet to find a cue I'd want to pull away and hear again. Maybe parts of two cues.

Who is the orchestra? Spotify, which came up in a Google search, says the LSO, but something just doesn't sound right, especially in the first two or three cues.

EDIT:
Track 22, 3:12 (to the end) in is the best thing I heard in the whole FYC presentation.

I'm going to commit film score blasphemy here for sure, but I just got more joy out of Kevin Kiner's work on "Star Wars: Rebels". Even the straight theme quotes.

As am I. Thus far it captures and holds my attention more than the previous two entries. Perhaps down to the seemingly stronger narrative through line. That's not to say it's as rewarding as the first six scores, though.
