Two episodes into the second season. It's San Francisco alright. Great to see all those places I walked a few years ago. It's an alternate universe (Joe Biden is president rather than Obama; this is 2016, before the mayhem), but it's less about that and more about the characters trying to escape the clutches of Jason Isaacs's character. Not much in terms of hard sci fi yet.
Like it so far. We
Good direction and some fresh faces! Btw what does OA stand.for?
Just finished the new animated Netflix anthology series LOVE, DEATH AND ROBOTS. Episodes are uneven in quality, but mostly it was really entertaining and well done. What a neat concept! Hoping there will be a second season.
Sounds interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I assume it is adult animation?
P.s Thor embracing the anthology format. Excellent!
Watched a few eps. More an action show aimed at teens.than adult sci- fi.7
Just finished the Russian A.I./android series BETTER THAN US (aka BETTER THAN HUMANS) on Netflix. I think it's the first Russian television series I've ever seen. It's pretty good, although not on the level of the similar British show HUMANS (or even further back, its Swedish original ÄKTA MÄNNISKOR, on which it was based). Added to the list. Don't know if more seasons are forthcoming.
Added THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE to the list. Hope a second season materializes.
Also, the Netflix show ANOTHER LIFE, although I had to stop watching after half of the first episode, it was so bad. Maybe I'll return to it on a later date, because the premise is interesting to me.
TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG has been added to the non-paranormal list.
Meanwhile, I'm up-to-date on INTO THE DARK. I believe the 12th episode is just around the corner (this show has only one episode per month, and has been going for almost a year now). It ranges from pretty good to rather stupid and dreadful.
