You're welcome. I did update the post to include that it's suite #1. I got a question for the readers. The last two years I have been doing certain shows during certain months. Here's what I got currently, followed by a some shows I'd like your thoughts on for what months to include them in. February: "Hart to Hart" (Valentine's Day after all) March: "T.J. Hooker" (spring time in the U.S.A.; part of my "Spring into action" theme) April: UNSET May: "Charlie's Angels" (decided this year; "May flowers" and women are associated with flowers) "Chase" June: General catch-all westerns suites. "Chase" "Dallas" July: General catch-all westerns suites. "Dallas" August: Other types of police shows and detective shows. "Banacek" September: UNSET October: "Thriller" "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" "Suspense" (radio) "The Whistler" (radio) November: "The A-Team" "The Waltons" (if I do any more suites for the show) Some shows I need a month for (feel free to suggest a show that I have no covered); currently "Probe" has a full listing of all shows I have covered, with links to the threads): "The Name of the Game" "McCloud" "In the Heat of the Night" "Vega$" Gemini Man" "Automan" "Matlock" (timely) "Jake the Fatman" "Wiseguy" "Cagney & Lacey" (timely) "Dynasty" "The Colbys" "Moonlighting" "The Mod Squad" "Knots Landing" "Medical Center" "McClain's Law" "The Devlin Connection" and "Probe".

Suite Notes: Two John Scott suites in the can. Two "Cagney & Lacey" suites in the works. Two British mini series suites awaiting editing. One Patrick Williams suite left hanging due to all episodes of a "lost" TV series vanishing as fast as they appeared, leaving me with no composer credit. Guess I'll just have to put that one aside.

What to expect from Monday's suites: February, the month of "Love", kicks off with three weeks of close enough love suites, starring with: "Hart to Hart", and Alex North.

This week's suites. "Hart to Hart" Composer: Mark Snow https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ln41xqZtMpg Suite #4. Continuing threw season one where the previous suite from last year left off. I'm trying to keep up with what episodes are represented, now, in the threads for the shows, so see y thread for the series on what is in each suite (if you want to know): https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=133995&forumID=1&archive=0 This is an extra special suite. All of Hart suites will be this month. Last year I think all I used was Lalal (maybe EaseUS), as these sites were still new to me. Now I have used EaseUS exclusively for dialogue (since it does a better job), and I used MVSep to remove FX (where it caught it) and some dialogue that didn't get caught. AT one point there was this cue during the night while a grave was being dug up, that had a continuous cliched wind howling -- MVSep removed all the wind (I cant' say off hand if it's this suite that cue is in). Unchained Composer: Alex North https://youtube.com/watch?v=Z_LP7Ke4U-8 Suite #2. This is an award-winning film from 1955 that originated the song "Unchained Melody" (music by North, lyrics by a very young man named Hy Zaret). Played ona guitar twice in the film while a prison sings. The theme is used throughout this wonderful unreleased score. Previously, many years back, I did one suite that covered about the first ten minutes of scoring from the film, but minus the song -- which tripped copyright. Now all these years later, I am glad I continued it after finding sites like EaseUS and MVSep. If I had not found those, I would have had to edit up nd butcher this score. I've done the best I reasonably could, and adjusted volumes levels where needed. No label has ever spoken up about why this score hasn't been released. I have to defacto assume that there are tapes issues.

Very cool, thanks Justin! So between this suite and your old 5 minute suite, is this the complete score in the available upload of the film? For some reason I thought it was more than 20 minutes. Yavar

Suite Notes: A third/fourth John E. Davis score recorded, to be released in March, as part of my "Spring into action" theme for the month (March 20 is the first day of Spring time in the U.S.A.). Just coincidental -- not planned -- but it's a heavy Davis month: all four suites for him that month. The six suites for Barry DeVorzon drop once a month starting March. An obscure pilot that was previously not available that popped up recently, scored by Dominic Frontiere, is recorded. Not sure when that'll get dropped. Mike Post & Pete Carpenter pilot score to a forgotten pilot that was previously not available and didn't even have an IMDb page, recorded. Fairly easy work here. Will drop first week of March. And yes, I did add the pilot to IMDb.

This week's suites. "Hart to hart" Composer: Mark Snow https://youtube.com/watch?v=q2v4CZyQwkE Suite #5. Continuing threw season one where the prior suite left off. Once again EaseUS and MVSep where used for dialogue and FX. See my thread for the show one what is in this suite. I'm trying to not be so lazy this year, noting in the threads under each episodes of series I am covering, what suite(s) they are in. "The Runaways" Composer: Earle Hagen https://youtube.com/watch?v=rMggUq2FEK4 Suite #1 (of two). This is a feature-length pilot from 1975 that spawned the series that lasted two seasons from Q.M.. Lalal was used to remove dialogue. I've had these suites in the can back when I only had Lalal to use. "Vega$" Composer: Dominic Frontiere https://youtube.com/watch?v=Xe6NIH24v1M "Walkin' Him Down" (original) (my name for the cue) This is a redo cue. Previously I had edited it all to hell for suite #1 for the composer. Now, with the power of EaseUS and MVSep, I have cleaned it up, adjusted volume levels and presented it in full.

Holy moly, I promised "The White Shadow" season two last year, didn't I? Man, good thing I remembered yesterday -- now I have enough time to make sure it's ready.

What to expect from Monday's suites: The final "Hart to Hart" suite for the year. And the final Unchained suite. Then March kicks off the "Spring into action" theme.

Suite Notes: Doing finishing work on a very special suite for "The White Shadow". My previous two suites were done before the A.I. websites. Season two starts off with a banger of a suite. Drops March 3. Two very special "Starsky and Hutch" suites in the works. Another John Scott suite to be handled this week. This one will be fairly easy and should be done in one day.

This week's suites. "Hart to Hart" Composer: Mark Snow https://youtube.com/watch?v=sM3yFUw_CBo Suite #6. Final suite for 2025. It might take half a dozen suites, but I hope to finish season one in 2026. After that I will move on to other composers from the show -- as wonderful as Snow's music is for the show, he'll have been given serious due on my end. Another special suite where EaseUS and MVSep were used to remove dialogue and some FX. As noted each time before, see my thread for the show on what episodes are covered in which suites. Unchained Composer: Alex North https://youtube.com/watch?v=IcvGOtD7EL8 Suite #3 -- the final suite. The first suite, creates years ago, like I said, was an edit job since I didn't know about the A.I. websites then (plus, they would have been newbies and probably useless anyway). Some cues, ultimately, don't sound like they were used in-full (you can hear edits in the music, which I tried to smooth over/remove for the suites), stuff that may be tracked, and I think a little bit may be from other films. I suspect -- with nothing more than my personal opinion -- that between the full score as recorded, any alternates of interest, tracked cues, and the two songs as sung in the film, there may be a 50+ minute score hiding on tapes somewhere (if tapes still exist).

I wasn't sure what I was going to do for April for a theme, but then it hit me -- I got a theme: The British are coming! The British are coming!

What to expect from next week's suites (presumably to be posted Monday, but right now days are up in the air, so I can't say for 100% the day they'll be put up): I close out Morton Stevens' score to "Code Name: Diamond Head". A very special Mike Post & Pete Carpenter suite.

This week's suites. "Code Name: Diamond Head" Composer: Morton Stevens Suite #2: https://youtube.com/watch?v=4hlXXSDqLLM Suite #3: https://youtube.com/watch?v=mDk4m3Qo2D0 With these two suites I have concluded work on the failed pilot. It's not all the score, but it's nearly al of it. "The White Shadow" Composers: Mike Post & Pete Carpenter https://youtube.com/watch?v=0WHdG1OlCCE Suite #3. This is a very special suite. Last year I did two suites that covered all fifteen episodes of season one, however, those suites were completed before I knew about the A.I. websites, so I edited them all to hell and deleted entire parts of cues. BUT, with this suite, I had the power of EaseUS ad MVSep to really bring the music alive. So, with those suites, I was able to remove all the dialogue. Then I removed a lot of FX with MVSep, but not fully happy I experimented with "MVSep Crowd removal (crowd, other)", hoping it would catch the cheering crowds during basketball games. And yes, it got some, reduced others, and of course didn't do too much for the remainder, but it's better than it was before! Episodes of the series are not heavily scored, and with this suite, I have covered almost the complete scores to the first six episodes of season two.
