This has to be one of the strangest and most protracted CD releases in quite some time! It was SOLD OUT virtually everywhere a few weeks ago!
But Varese’s UK store never ran out of copies. Maybe what happened is they worked out a transfer of some of their remaining stock to the US store since there was more demand there. I honestly don’t know if that’s what they did but it’s what I would do if 1500 copies sold out fast in one territory while some of the 500 copies assigned to another territory were still lingering.
Finally! Just bought a copy at Intrada and checked to see how many were left by entering a random number. A message came back that stated I had entered more copies than they have. The number of copies left was...13. Good luck.
Did anyone determine an actual number for how many copies of this release were pressed? The original release, with typos, sold out quickly. And the follow up batch as well. Prices are now pretty high.
