One I never got around to until now is Umberto - which was described as a Goblin-like band. Here's a great cinematic track with a hilarious title. I've loved Ruth White's Flowers of Evil album since I found a used vinyl copy in the mid 1980s. Don't really know her other work too well. So glad to see re-releases! And yeah, it's not quite the kind of electronica this thread is focused on. And I've got another one of those new favorite artists - Nigel Mullaney! I've been introduced to him by his albums on the DIN label. Here are a couple of samples from his latest, The Navigator. The Silver Pillar Beyond The Map's Edge Very Tangerine Dreamy to my ears, with some of the big sounds of Vangelis - but distinctive enough to be more than influences. Really enjoy this. She's done a documentary on Delia Derbyshire, the soundtrack of which will be released in a few weeks. And she's got some great chops herself - try this for a "Mark Isham Invades Precinct 13 in 1983" vibe.
