For what it's worth I'm definitely curious about this.

I think Elfman's score is great but not so much in the context of the DC movie universe.
As for the movie I'm also really curious if the Snyder-cut will be the revelation that people are hoping for. Personally I don't think another cut will fix the problems with it, but who knows? No doubt I'm gonna watch it to see it for myself.

It’s entirely new footage, new plot, new characters, new villain, character development, character arcs, fixed color grading, and thematic continuity. According to Snyder, roughly 25% of the footage in the theatrical version is his. The reshoots are atrocious... you can see terrible green screens and blurry backgrounds in many of the shots because it was hastily slapped together by the studio. The Snyder Cut certainly isn’t going to convince anyone who already hates Man of Steel and BvS, but it WILL fix continuity errors created by the theatrical version. People just need to temper/adjust their expectations accordingly and appreciate it for what it is.

Here’s a good article detailing some of the differences (spoilers beware):

That sounds actually promising.

And yes, the green screen shots looked so horrible, I almost couldn't believe it when I saw the movie. That a green screen shot can look so fake in this day and age... wow. That was something.

Snyder's color grading is horrible. So fixing the color grading to me means making it worse. And his films have the worst CGI, so fixing green screens shots is an oxymoron. Are they really gonna spend millions to re-shoot the film a third time? Sounds like PR BS to me. But yeah, it will please the Snyder fans no matter what he cobbles together.

They're not "fixing" the color grading or "fixing" green screen shots. You have to understand... the film was already shot it in it's entirety and CHANGED in post. Snyder shot the film and then the studio came in and reshot most of it. What they're releasing is going to be 98% his original footage. It's not PR BS as you call it. This information has literally been out there for the past 2 years...

I read, "entirely "new" footage", so I thought you meant they were going to re-shoot the movie.
Anyway WB needs new content for its upstart streaming service so it makes business sense to make a new movie out of old (preexisting?) footage not to mention with Hollywood shut down they can't make original content for its streaming service right now. If it wasn't for their streaming service I don't think this Snyder cut would've materialized at this point in time.

I think you're absolutely right! And the same thing seems to be happening to David Ayer's cut of Suicide Squad, which was also completely butchered by the studio. #ReleaseTheAyerCut seems to be trending, and this is great news for directors!

Moody song- Check!
Cartoony CGI- Check!
Over saturation film- Check!
Lots of Slow-Mo- Check!

Looks like the same film to me!

Though I'm sure the Snyder fans will proclaim this the best thing since sliced bread.

So what you’re saying is, the fans will proclaim to enjoy it? Well..... yeah?

Literally a 2 minute Google search will show you that it’s not the same film. And if you’re disinterested in it, I can only assume we’ve heard the last of your thoughts on it. Cheers!

I criticized the trailer and you resort to personal attacks. Typical of someone who has nothing to say. The film will be the same jar of piss you all know and love. Enjoy.

Sounds like the bad guys already won before the prologue.

Sounds more befitting of a ZS movie than Elfman's work.
