My apologies ZardozSpeaks. I've only just seen your post.

Isn't that Luciana Paluzzi? Because, if that is the case, that makes TWO great reasons to look this title up. Thanks for the info.

That'll teach ya not to log out too soon when I'm posting - I may not be finished! smile

Yeah, that's Luciana Paluzzi.

Whenever I search for album images, I tend to find the reverse sides more informative regarding content than front cover art/photos.
More people should be posting images of backsides, don't you think? wink

Hahaha! Cheeky devil! big grin

Skip this version - mastered from electronically rechanneled for stereo LP masters - and get the lossless download, which includes the full score.

Except for the fact that this includes another score which does not (and probably will never) have a better release...

That does not excuse the shoddy presentation of the companion album.

They did the best they could considering they were licensing the album only, from Mainstream. They apparently didn’t know about the expanded 10th victim, because it was a foreign release and there are so many foreign releases to keep track of. So they goofed, a bit. It wasn’t malicious or lazy on Intrada’a part. It’s not like they make a habit of releasing album arrangements for scores that have already been expanded. You could really give them a break on this one rather than continuing to harp on it. And this album is still worth getting for anyone who wants That Man in Istanbul on CD.

They should have knocked down the price.

And they should have used the mono LP master, not the out-of-phase, electronically rechanneled monstrosity.

If a label charges top dollar for a shoddy project, I'm calling them out.

I don't get it. Did Intrada goof, or is that just the subjective opinion of a disgruntled customer? I ask, because to these subjective ears, the Intrada sounds fantastic, and this is from someone who owns both versions (thanks to a very kindly FSMer). smile

Intrada took "The Tenth Victim" from the electronically-rechanneled-for-stereo LP master. Whether it sounds "good" or not is subjective, but the inferior source is an empirical fact.
