Star Trek Into Darkness is by far Giacchinos finest work IMO ( Especially on the 2 disc release ).

One thing I've learned from this thread, Spider-Man: Homecoming is Giacchino's most underrated score. big grin

This thread is a trip. For every one of the Giaccinator's works, there are lauders and lambasters alike. He truly has "made it".

I gotta go with Jupiter Ascending and both Incredibles scores, though Speed Racer would be a contender if I had it.

I wonder if he is returning for the next one and whether or not he'd be inspired to improve upon his ideas the same way as some of his other recent sequel works. With the exception of Incredibles 2, all his sequel works have seen tremendous improvements over the originals.

I gotta go with Jupiter Ascending

Me too. This was the score that got me fully on board with this. Amazing work.

Album's overlong (which is better than being too short I suppose), but War of the Planet of the Apes is another Giacchino I put on now and then when in the right mood.

OK, I'm listening to Lost season 1. Based on Parting Words alone it's a bloody masterpiece!
