On most CD cases, if you press down on the middle plastic part that is holding the CD, the teeth will slightly retract, releasing the goods. It takes two hands unless you're double jointed but I think that was the intended purpose of those little teeth when they were designing CD cases all those years ago...

I could recommend this release if only LALA would get back to me to replace the damaged disc that they shipped to me a couple of weeks ago ...... frown

Was it a disc 2? The manufacturer is sending us replacements of disc 2

Indeed it was.

Should I look here for instructions about receiving a replacement?

Just email us your name and address

Info@lalaland-ent.com

It's been almost 4 weeks since I sent this email, and....

No reply, no replacement for faulty disc, nothing.

I'm going to need to contact Intrada about this.

I purchased what was one of the last copies they had of this a few weeks back and just got around to opening it a few minutes ago. I can clearly see the dimple on disc 2.

Annoying, but I'm not too worried about getting it replaced. Both Intrada and L La Land have proven to be honest and upfront retailers. It may take a while, but I'm confident a positive resolution will be there before too long.

The larger picture though is what bothers me- and that is the level of quality and QC across all manner of products I buy, which are now almost exclusively online purchases.
Every media I've purchased over the last year has had issues- mis-printings, or physical damage on books, major mastering production/errors on movie discs...and then stuff like this.

The state of quality of our products today is truly pathetic.

Thanks MV. I will do that as soon as Quinn Martin set goes up for sale. Don't want to cost LLL extra in shipping for it to be sent on its own.

4 weeks since this was announced. Not a sign of a replacement in my mail in spite of the email I sent as requested.

Has anybody received their replacement for disc 2 yet?
