Yay! It will probably be a week of so before we Yanks get ours.

I still haven't received mine and I'm in good old blighty.

Juliet Rozsa has received her copy; posted photos on FB.
2 CD’s. Looks wonderful.

How appropriate that she would be the first! Excellent news.

I checked her FB Page yesterday and today but could see nothing.

However I went out to do some shopping at lunchtime, and in my postbox..... King of Kings.... there is a God.

I believe she was sharing Executive Associate Producer Volker Hannemann's pictures which he posted on his fb. And he is based in Germany.

I want to thank James for his efforts in getting this CD mastered, manufactured and distributed in the most difficult of circumstances.

Yes, and it is the final milestone of a road that has reached its endpoint. As promised.

Can't wait to finally tick that checkbox next to the 'recieved' indicator on Kickstarter...

When does the new recording go on sale for those of us who missed the kickstarter campaign?

Thanks, well it's the same cover as the one presented for the launch of the Tadlow kickstarter.

I believe it's in September.

Btw, I've not played mine yet as it is Mega hot here and it doesn't seem the right atmosphere for a Biblical epic, at least to me anyway. Sorry.

Think of the "Burning Desert" and "The Last Temptation" wink

Such a profound shame. Without sounding narcissistic, and all due kudos to James magnificent rerecordings (of which I have doubles), I hope someone somewhere manages to do Jungle Book.

Maybe in a couple of years or so after James has recharged his batteries. I'm hopeful that we've not seen the last of Tadlow's re-recordings.

Or of Luc Van Der Ven's similar series marketed through Tadlow. I'm still hopeful for The Pride and the Passion.

Just received my copy here in Scotland- looks great and I can’t wait to give it a listen.

There are a number of us who would want The Pride and Passion. However, I’m afraid that any future project will be small scale.

James has said in the past that he like to do THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER. I hope he will get to it when his health permits. I think it will fit in nicely with a smaller score rather than THE PRIDE AND THE PASSION which would require a much larger expense. Hope springs eternal.

If say Pride & Passion were likely to be £100k or whatever, a new Kickstarter might be the better way to go. I'd back it by pre-paying for the CD, and if it takes 2 or 3 years to accomplish then so be it. Whatever makes life easier for James. Or maybe it's a Project that Leigh Phillips or another of his extended team could oversee. Let's face it James isn't getting any younger.

I still remember when I lived in the same house in Battersea with the Masheter Twins and Dave Stoner that James would often come for a meal and drinks and when everyone else retired for the night, James would go through my Laser Disc collection playing any obscure Maurice Jarre scores contained therein. He would never sleep.

The design hasn't changed... the images Volker Hannemann posted on Facebook show this cover.

Looks like a photo I took in the mixing booth made it to the back of the booklet. Pretty fun!

James still has to do "The War Lord".

Quite a few top notch scores that could do with a virtuoso rerecording.

I don't even mind paying in to another kickstarter for such an enterprise.

But right this minute, King of Kings cometh.
