I think the LLL Black Friday batch was spectacular this year, but I have no doubt that Intrada/Quartet/Varese still have some exciting goodies in store before 2023 comes to a close. Yavar

Is Music Box Records in France really done for the year? Even if one doesn't care about French scores, remember they brought us a big surprise of an expanded Legend in 2021... Yavar

Caldera going to do anything this year for December? They are! They’ve been teasing a release on Facebook and it sounds intriguing! Here’s what they’ve said about it: “We have one last release coming for 2023. It will be announced and shipped out in early December. There's a chance for you to have a great Christmas after all.” “Our next release, the last of 2023, will coincide with the launch of our new homepage. Hope you are all as excited as we are. Yippie!” “Caldera #52 is special in more ways than one. For example, nobody knows of the film's existence. Even the composer had forgotten all about it.” In reply to that last one I wrote, “Is it not on IMDb?” to which Caldera replied, “Yavar Joseph Moradi It is not. As far as we knew, the film was never distributed. We don't even know if it was ever finished.” Later posts: “One more hint: Our next CD will include more than one score. It's a particular kind of celebration of one of the greats!” And just the day before yesterday: “In just a few days, we will unveil our next release. It was recorded in 1961, and the recently transferred tapes sound fresh like a daisy, y'all.” Yavar
