Anyone watching THE ARK on Sci-Fi Channel from Dean Devlin? Seriously sh!t, but in a good way. Sloppily written, Scooby-Doo characters, soap-style situations and bonkers science. But we've barrelled through Series One in quick-time. I do believe a Series Two is coming forth.

But we've barrelled through Series One in quick-time. I do believe a Series Two is coming forth. I tried it this evening, but couldn't get past the 15-minute mark. It's bizarre to me that post-Emmerich Devlin, who has done a couple of decent pics since (I dig GEOSTORM, seen it 3 times, and heard good things about THE BAD SAMARITAN), is able to conjure up this cheapo pap, which looks like it comes straight out of 90s SyFy territory. So while I agree with your 'shit' part, I'm afraid I don't see the 'in a good way' part. Not for me, this, despite a premise that on paper is right up my alley.

I don't see mention of AWAKE, the series by Kyle Killen about a cop whose life switches back and forth between two realities. It was bogged down a bit during it's only season by leaning too much on being a police procedural, but got increasingly weird towards the end. The planned second season would have been much more surreal. Different realities as in parallell dimensions or as in "in his head"? I'm not really a fan of "in your head" psychological sci fi, nor police procedurals. Thanks for the tip, though! I'm also surprised to not see LIFE ON MARS on the list, another fantasy police procedural from the UK. That's not obscure, you've probably heard of it. I'm not talking about the US remake. Oh yes, I remember that show, and I'll add it to the list. Saw it at the time, in the mid 2000s. It was okay, as far as I remember, although I actually prefer another John Simm-starring show from around the same time, the non-sci fi crime show THE LAKES. Again, not a big fan of crime in general, but this was a show totally envelopped in mood and landscapes, so I dug it. Also, I've always been fascinated by the incredibly dark issue of human trafficking, so that helped (at least I think it was about that; maybe I'm confusing the plot with a different show).

He's in a car crash with his wife and son. One morning he wakes up and his wife is alive and his son died, and the following morning he finds that his son is alive and his wife died, and the two worlds start alternating every day. He doesn't know why. Nor do we, since the show got cancelled, but the last episode is trippy, like the finale of The Prisoner.

I would NOT recommend an animated superhero series called "Invincible" (Started in 2021 and still going). I decided to check out the pilot based upon a photo and the series idea, just to see if it is any good. It's so bad. The characters are boring and kind of generic, the writing is very immature (like a teenager wrote large parts of), cliched lines and cliched ideas, generic nothing scoring from Joe Paeseano. I had to abandon it. Superhero series fall into the sci fi genre, so I decided to come here and warn Thor and others.
