Today a.late breakfast, an old favourite.

Looks good. Though late breakfast is usually called brunch. In Blighty only if you're a snob or trying to reach above your station. And as Shakespeare originally.said ' a breakfast by any other name would taste as delish' .'

Tonight's tea: sliced beef, boiled spuds, carrot, peasant onions.

You're going to eat the snowmans nose! Ah, so it was a nose. No wonder the funny looks.

Tonight: gammon and some rice.

Tonight: lamb 'leg chops', 1 carrot, leek with cheese and some left over rice

The carrot was affectionately known as a Gregg, for a while.

Semi hard cooked whole carrots are delicious. Have you tried doing them in a micro wave. The above was done so. And very nice and tender they are, too. Once you get the cooking time right.
