SJW stands for Sexy Japanese Women.

Now that's an acronym meaning I can get behind.

Today's Marvel & DC franchise films are dull. We need to get back to 1990s pulp heroes like THE ROCKETEER and THE SHADOW. Now those were fun movies!

There's never been a decent film where the prime mover is apeoid or monkeyish, and precious few where the monkey is purely incidental. Sorry, not even the classics - King Kong 1933 (classic for the special effects) and 1976 (classic for the score). Okay, I quite enjoyed Skull Island, but only because I really didn't expect to. And "Rise..." was watchable for Freida. But apart from that, no.

The 1980's Supergirl film was a masterpiece - ruined by Jerry's "phone it in" score.

The new versions of "Andromeda strain" and "Pelham 1-2-3" are the necessary vast improvements needed to appreciate those stories in the medium of film.

LMAO!!!

That what they call in the animation industry "Plusing". Making a scene (or in this case a joke) even better.

Made me LOL!
I didn't even realize my typo!
But I don't have the heart (& soul) to correct it, because then your riff on it would make no sense and I will do that to NO man!
(I will add an asterisk point at the bottom, however. wink)

Synth music didn't start to matter until the '80's.
