I like it. Holkenborg is reliably interesting and capable of writing great melodies (my favorite so far: his main theme for THE DARK TOWER.)

Regarding Holkenborg's music, it sounds very much like him, and it reminded me of Alita.
Actually, the 2017's movie is, technially a Joss Whedon movie.

Well i cant wait for Zack Snyders Justice League.This movie is coming out because the fans made it happen and its made for the fans.
As for Junkie XL's music,at least it should sound like its in the same universe as MOS and BVS ( Elfmans music for the Whedon cut was too much of a departure for what was already established and his reuse of his Batman theme and Williams Superman were out of place ).

Masterpiece this is not. But I like the power anthem. Much better than any theme Elfman came up with in the original.
Altough I quite like Elfman's work (but not in this movie, this characters are not the same for those themes), Holkenborg's music are much closer to Alita's theme, but much bigger, and liking it.

Nope, just a film score fan on a film score message board who doesn't want to get sidetracked by a bunch of people salty about a film.
And to that point, the newly released track "The Crew at Warpower" sounds pretty neat! Keeping in mind that this was written a few years prior, it fits firmly in JXL's established Mad Max/Divergent style and matches the tone set by MoS and BvS perfectly!

Actually, Holkenborg said he change some aspects of the score, after re-listened, because, some things for him couldn't work with movie now.
And still believe this theme reminds more to Alita than Mad Max/Divergent
