Pretty broad question, but anybody recognize any of the score from this season six track-job episode? A lot of the score has light FX as it's quite walking around scenes, which can means serious score salvaging:

I think it probably leant heavily on "Over Fifty? Steal" considering the villain gives off strong Lewis Avery Filer vibes (both episodes have the same writer).

Much to my shock today, I found an alternate copy of the failed 1997 pilot covered in this thread. THIS time the copy had credits on screen, both in the opening and the end credits (whereas the previous one did not). Nope, not Mark Snow as I speculated, but rather … Mike Post!

I submitted the credit to IMDb and it is already up.

The new alternate copy of the pilot:

Well it was the one that CBS entrusted it to Stephen J. Cannell (who famously wasn't that familiar with the series thanks to being busy working his own stuff (The Rockford Files, Baa Baa Black Sheep etc) during the run of the original show, hence his bringing back Chin Ho!) so it was obviously going to be Mike Post.

That exciting moment when you hear the "Hawaii Five-O" theme played on -- of all places -- the classical music radio station.

That sad moment when it's done and instead of creating Morton Stevens for the theme music, they credit the cover band that did the version played. :-(
