Bill Carson. Shame on you.
That's no way to talk about the woman I never nearly loved.

My great UNREQUITED love was a9 Italian woman.
The FIRST time I laid eyes on her I heard the opening bars of " Jill's theme from ONCE UPON A TIME ..WEST.

I'm not making this up!

Yeah and while i was bonking Gina on the set of Solomon and Sheba, i could hear the music of Nascimbene! She dumped me for the sound man. frown

During the time HONDO (1953) was filmed, I recall reading that Geraldine Page--who was no beauty-- banged numerous crew.

The Marshmallow Man, while not the brightest bulb in the luminescent chandelier that is FSM, gets credit for admitting his past shattered loves.

Your praise, I don't need!

Believe me, it's strictly for the good of the thread.

FSMers are lightning-quick to talk "cat poop", yet are tightlipped when it comes to discussing their romantic failures.

Why is that?

Obviously nothing to say.

I'm still waiting for those lovelorn losers* to prove me wrong. big grin

*but "winners" at film score CD accumulating, of course.

That was funnier than my gag. Yes a narrow escape... Yavar couldve been duped into a relationship with a fat grizzled 70 year old man in a basement with a fantasy about being a composer! big grin

Sybok feels FSMers' pain.

You know, over the years we've seen many, many different Vulcans.
They all had their own "look" (for want of a better word), but the one thing they all shared was the bowl-cut with bangs.
All except for Sybok.
Sure, he had the upswept eyebrows and the pointy ears.
But the rock 'n' roll hair shattered the illusion--cool though the hair was.

I think this would have been a more appropriate, believable way to go:

Sybok resembles the average FSMer so the Trek audience can better relate to him.

Bettie Page, however, is the kind of woman who fuels the average FSMer's pain...

I dunno... she goes back a pretty durn long way.

Actually, I guess you're right.
We FSM denizens are either pretty young or pretty old.

Speaking of Bettie, in my callow youth I was more of a Candy Samples enthusiast (RIP, incidentally)--before she started with the inevitable silly enhancements, that is.
In her early days she was a frigging force of nature.

Receding hairline as selling point, huh? Who knew.

Heh. It didn't do any harm to Michael Bolton.
Of course, I do not personally consider him "rock 'n' roll".

That Diana Davila - hottest suicidal woman ever!

Wow what a cutie. According to IMDB she only did four acting gigs then disappeared off the face of the earth. Sort of like the love of my life I saw one time in summer camp when I was eight years old, never to be seen again. frown
