I wish they stop making films set in the 70's. What a horribly ugly time period. Worst design fads EVER!
Worse yet they try to make their films looks like washed out Polaroid pictures to capture that moment in time.

Word!

I mentioned.films like BLACKKKLANSMAN and BATTLE.OF THE SEXES- both excellent- as films.that needlessly ' loomrd' like 70s flicks.
And don't get me started on FIRST MAN

It looks like a cross between KING OF COMEDY and THE MASK!

Is KOC credited?

Anyone who already has this in the U.S. - can you tell me if it was in a standard jewel case or a digipak, etc.? Trying to figure out the best place to get it from re: damage.

It's a jewel case BUT it's a CD-R only, manufactured on demand, not a physical CD-Audio.

Aaaah, right, of course it is. Ugh. Okay, thank you for the info, Adam!

Finally saw the film, enjoyed it quite a bit. Great central performance, some nice direction and design. Really liked the way they tied Joker to the Wayne family. Loved the score. Thought it worked very well in creating a pervasive dread, and i do like it away from the imagery too. Good stuff.

I popped into my local record shop yesterday - they are selling an officially pressed CD by Water Tower Music. I'm guessing since the film was so successful they've pressed some CDs. I may pick it up now.

I missed the film when it was released in UK last Autumn. DVD was released today and I've just finished watching the film. A stunning experience and one can see why Joaquin Phoenix cleaned up the actor awards this season. Astonishing performance and yes, this setting did remind me of 60s/70s New York.
Score was perfect for the film and I look forward hearing it live at a performance of the film in late April. Hildur Gudnadottir deserved her awards even though I also loved Thomas Newman's 1917 score.
