To clarify, there is still no English language version of this book?

There is an English version of the book. This thread is discussing the English version.

I've also noted some errors as I explore different chapters, sometimes it's portions of sentences being repeated or factual errors, such as the premiere dates of the original Star Trek series and calling Spock, "Dr. Spock". In the passage on THE CHALLENGE, he notes there being synthesizers used in the score but I'm like 99% sure that score is entirely acoustic. I have also found that in many instances I'm having to re-read passages to understand what the author's point is. This could be part and parcel of translation, or that his line of thought simply isn't clear at times. A minor nitpick is that I've lost count of how many times he refers to Goldsmith as "the Californian genius"!

I do like the organizing and arranging of JG's career by genre, especially in the section on his Westerns. At times, the book seems like a very glossy, deluxe "buyer's guide", but I do appreciate the attempts to assess the connections between scores via genre, as opposed to moving chronologically through them, as I know Jeff Bond's book will be organized.

If you are willing to pass on your observations let me know as we can get them passed onto the author for a future edition.

Hi dears, this is my first post. I'm glad to join your community.

Last week I got my copy autographed by Christian's himself, he's such a nice guy!

About the book itself, although I've only read a portion of it I just couldn't recomend it enough,
it's brilliantly put together and both text and pictures are a thing of pure beauty.
