Here's what I know as of now: If "Neil" is using his real first name, here's what I can definitively say - he did not order this title from us - no one named Neil ordered A Bridge Too Far. So, hopefully we'll get some clarity here soon.

Neil posted this same thing on the Intrada board. I have sent him a PM there, but even on that board he was told that it was surprising he hadn't had a response because everyone ALWAYS gets one. Curiouser and Curiouser. That said, he's always been very nice to Kritzerland in his postings there, so hopefully he'll contact me and we can sort this out, although overseas shipping is really bad right now, which you can chalk up to various countries' horrible postal services and customs.

The Neil problem has been solved - both of them. It's absolutely nutty, but I guess the stars were out of alignment every step of the way:
Well, for whatever weird reasons, this has been a real comedy of errors every step of the way, but all mysteries have been solved now. One of the mysteries is a first for Kritzerland - both of Neil's e-mails went to the spam folder - gmail is usually incredible about never putting a regular e-mail into the spam folder - and therefore I never check in there unless I go in to nuke what's built up in there. As soon as I went in I found Neil's two e-mails and two others that were in there (thankfully not about missing CDs). Guess I'll now have to regularly check Ye Olde Spam folder.
And Neil did indeed order A Bridge Too Far - while what happened to the order wasn't a first for us, it was a second - here's what I wrote Neil:
Okay, the mystery has been solved, I guess. So, I'll explain how orders work - when we get an order from paypal, the invoice is instantly forwarded to us via e-mail. For example, when you ordered Carrie, which I found easily, it was forwarded instantly like all our invoices. When I searched Neil and A Bridge Too Far, nothing came up in our saved invoices - I print out each invoice as it comes in and then the e-mail goes into a "saved" folder so I can access it instantly without having to search paypal, which can be cumbersome.
So, here's what happened: For only the second time in the five years of Kritzerland and paypal, your invoice did not get forwarded, hence we did not get it. I just went to paypal and found it by searching through all the October 11 invoices, all of which had come through, save for yours. I'll be calling them tomorrow to find out why this happened, but it's VERY unusual. So, please accept our apologies for the paypal screwup and we'll send your CD tomorrow (Monday).

Accidentally stumbled into this on SAE. Wow, one of my favourite WWII film scores. I'm always happy when this is on TV (even if I own the DVD of it  ) as the cast alone is worth the price of admittance. Lord Attenborough's direction is stellar and he keeps the movement of the events going at a nice pace without it being disjointed. Addison's score, however, elevates the whole thing as you feel the pride and then, sorrow of the Allies as they become bogged down in what should have been a simple enough exercise. Excellent, thoroughly excellent.
Had to order by international draft as my card is maxed out. Hopefully the draft will cross the Atlantic in time  !
Oh, and for favourite quote from the movie, it's got to be Gene Hackman! After a R.A.F. "expert" suggests that Hackman and the rest put themselves in harm's way for no good reason, Hackman walks up to him, checks his insignia and remarks: "Just making sure whose side you're on."
