I loved the project, too. Who knew, at the time, that the process of printing books was such a hill to climb. Regardless, the books must be printed by now if the feedback of the proofs was provided back in February? Believe me, if the books were printed you'd have heard about it loudly and clearly. Perhaps they're at the printers, wherever that may be, but no one actually knows that because all anyone gets is Ingmar Bergman's The Silence. Ingmar Bergman's The Silence is the problem here. Too much Silence. Tell the people whose money has been taken what is going on with regular updates. Truthful regular updates. Then you won't have to have Ingmar Bergman's Cries and Whispers, you won't have to have Ingmar Bergman's Shame. All people here want is John Boorman's Deliverance and Henri-Georges Clouzot's La Verite (The Truth).

I have it on good authority that the books are being prepared, as we type. They have cut the expense from the Bermuda triangle fund by hiring 100 monks to copy them by hand. And, oh boy, they will look lovely.

Just another fucking scam. Any day now, right? As the old saying goes, if I ever run into Mr White, I hope I'm driving.

At this point I doubt they are even working on the books, baring a miracle they are not coming. Enjoy your pdf's "You could have walked him backwards and made it by now"- Midnight Run (1988)

The only reasonable conclusion is that the funds have been re-purposed/allocated either to another project or debt OR simply stashed away earning interest.
Yes, Roger said something similar. People are naturally going to be suspicious that the money was re-purposed, re-allocated, or used to pay off business debts, or something like that. I hope it's not true. Underline the word hope. I want my books. Cheers

Well, according to the last update, which was last year in December, "they" (whoever "they" are) are working tirelessly(!!) to finally get these books printed and delivered to us. All they(?) asked is that we please be patient (as if we weren't patient... I mean, we are waiting for two years now!) for "the final bend" and that we WILL (original capitalization) have these books in our hands in 2025. Well, it is now five months later, the year is half gone. It has not been specified what that "final bend" is supposed to be, nor has any word come forth what the current status quo or the situation is. I just know one thing: other books have been planned, written, and printed in the time that these overfunded and "fully written and ready for printing" volumes have failed to materialize. Half of 2025 is over soon. Time Remaining in 2025: 7 months 14 days 32 weeks 4 days 228 days

Correction, the year is not yet half gone… oh what I am trying to get myself believing here. Books, I want the books!

I bet it's two sizes too small. And lettering fades immediately.
