I'll remember to tell you as soon as you explain to everyone how the producer chopped up the first-ever complete Suzie Wong release right from the original three-track tapes.    Posted:   Jun 11, 2021 - 1:27 AM     By:   ZardozSpeaks   (Member) Not subscribing to Thor's, OnyaBirri's & Caldera Records' notions about soundtrack albums listening experiences myself, I nevertheless think OB implies that the order of the tracks within the Kritzerland CD are less satisfying than the initial cue assembly by Hugo & Luigi for the 1960 RCA LP. The Kritzerland CD is not chopped up to me, but perhaps OB's "chopped" refers to the entire 'music-in-film-order' + 'bonus section at the end' mentality in comparison to former album program designs. Onya made similar comments about the La-La Land CD on The Bad Seed; a selection of 'bonus' segments tacked onto the main program which is a re-issue of the 1956 RCA LP content. Onya's conclusion? Guys in the 1950s and 1960s knew how to intuitively sequence cues in order to create a musical experience (not the same thing as music in film story order). We denizens of the 21st century ain't got a klew as to what it takes to make a 1960 album in 2013. Meanwhile, I still enjoy Kritzerland's chop-up of the RCA vinyl The World of Sushi Wong. My comment was made in response to another post stating a preference for some but not all of the score. I, conversely, wrote that I love the entire score, and I bumped the thread for this reason. Respectfully, your response was completely out of proportion to my comment. Buddy o' mine, I responded, sent a follow-up response and yet you and four others who wrote and wanted it have yet to order it. I also put it on Amazon at a higher price and orders have been coming in regularly since - there now are very few left - in a few days there will be zero left. "I like the whole album, but I did not like the way the producer chopped it up for CD. I had to resequence it.
